Remote Pairing and Unpairing
These controllers can be paired with LTECH MINI series RF 2.4GHz remotes.
Pairing the Remote
Method 1: Using the Controller Button
- Short press the ID learning button on the controller; the indicator light will flash. Complete the following steps within 10 seconds.
- For Single-zone MINI remotes, long press the ON/OFF button until the controller's indicator light flashes rapidly.
- For Multi-zone MINI remotes, long press the designated zone button until the controller's indicator light flashes rapidly.
- Successful pairing is indicated when the controller's load light flashes slowly and then remains constantly lit.
Method 2: Powering On the Controller
- Turn off the controller.
- For Single-zone MINI remotes, long press the ON/OFF button and power on the controller simultaneously until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
- For Multi-zone MINI remotes, long press the designated zone button and power on the controller simultaneously until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
- Successful pairing is indicated when the controller's load light flashes slowly and then remains constantly lit.
Note: A controller can be paired with a maximum of 10 remotes. Pairing more than 10 remotes will automatically delete the earliest paired remote ID codes.
Unpairing the Remote
Method 1: Using the Controller Button
- Delete all remote pairings: Long press the ID learning button on the controller for 10 seconds, then short press it 6 times. The indicator light will flash and then stay on, confirming removal.
- Delete a single remote pairing:
- Single-zone Mini: Press and hold the ID learning key for 5 seconds. Within 10 seconds, press the ON/OFF key three times briefly. The load light will flash slowly and stay on constantly upon successful clearing.
- Multi-zone Mini: Press and hold the ID learning key for 5 seconds. Within 10 seconds, press the zone key three times briefly. The load light will flash slowly and stay on constantly upon successful clearing.
Method 2: Powering On the Controller
- Delete a single remote pairing:
- Single-zone Mini: Power on the controller for 2 seconds, power it off for 2 seconds, then power it on again. Within 3 seconds, press the ON/OFF key three times briefly. The load light will flash slowly and stay on constantly upon successful clearing.
- Multi-zone Mini: Power on the controller for 2 seconds, power it off for 2 seconds, then power it on again. Within 3 seconds, press the zone key three times briefly. The load light will flash slowly and stay on constantly upon successful clearing.
Installation Precautions and Attentions
Proper installation is crucial for the performance and longevity of the LED controllers.
Precautions:
- Spacing: Ensure a minimum distance of 15cm between stacked products to allow for heat dissipation and maintain lifespan.
- Placement: Do not place products directly on the floor. Maintain a distance of at least 100cm from the floor to avoid signal interference.
- Metal Objects: Avoid placing products near large metal objects (e.g., metal stud ceilings) or beams/corners. Maintain a minimum distance of 15cm from such objects to prevent signal interference.
- Environment: Install products within their specified working temperature range. Avoid installing inside LED fixtures where temperatures may exceed the limits, which could affect product lifetime.
Attentions:
- Installation and commissioning should be performed by a qualified professional.
- LTECH products are not inherently lightningproof or waterproof (unless specified for special models). Protect them from sun and rain, especially when installed outdoors, using waterproof enclosures or lightning protection devices.
- Ensure good ventilation for effective heat dissipation, which extends product life.
- Avoid placing controllers near large metallic objects or stacking them to prevent signal interference.
- Avoid installation in areas prone to thunderstorms, strong magnetic fields, or high voltage.
- Verify that the working voltage used complies with the product's parameter requirements.
- Before powering on, double-check all wiring to prevent short circuits, damage to components, or accidents due to incorrect connections.
- If a fault occurs, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact the supplier for assistance.
Note: This manual is subject to change without prior notice. Product functions are subject to the actual goods. Please contact official LTECH distributors for any questions.
