Contents
Safety Instructions - Read Carefully!
When installing and using this electrical equipment, there are basic safety precautions that should always be followed:
- Appliance should be supplied through a residual current device (RCD/GFCI type) with a rated tripping current not exceeding 30mA.
- Electric installations should fulfil the requirements of local standards. Earthed appliances must be permanently connected to fixed wiring.
- Any damage to electrical cable should be replaced by a competent party immediately before further use.
- It's recommended not to use an extension cord to connect the Inflatable Pool Spa to electrical supply.
- RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK: Never operate any external/additional electrical appliance when in the Inflatable Pool Spa or when your body is wet. Keep electrical appliances away from the Inflatable Pool Spa.
- RISK OF ACCIDENTAL DROWNING: Children are forbidden from using the Pool Spa unless they are supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
- For health and safety reasons, children under 8 years old are not recommended for hot tubs. For children 8 years +, temperature should be set no higher than 37°C.
- When not in use, the cover should be fitted and locked to help retain heat and prevent unsupervised children accessing the Inflatable Pool Spa.
- Shower before using your Inflatable Pool Spa. Cosmetic products, lotions etc. on skin can degrade water quality.
- Do not switch on if there is any possibility that water in the Pool Spa or control system is frozen.
- Pets should be kept away from your Pool Spa at all times.
- Soaking in hot water during pregnancy can cause damage to the unborn foetus. Consult your doctor if you have specific concerns.
- Use of alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during use can increase the risk of drowning.
- Individuals with a history of heart disease, low/high blood pressure, circulatory system problems, or diabetes should consult a doctor before using the Spa. People using medication should also consult their doctor. Some medications may cause drowsiness or affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation.
- Water temperature should never exceed 42°C (107°F). Operating temperatures between 38-40°C (100-104°F) are considered safe for healthy adults. Lower temperatures are recommended for younger children and for use exceeding 10 continuous minutes.
- The maximum temperature of 42°C can be programmed. Once the cover is removed, water temperature will automatically drop due to evaporation. An additional 2°C compensates for heat loss. Before use, reduce the maximum temperature to 38-40°C (100-104°F) and ensure the reading is no greater than 40°C.
- Immediately exit the Inflatable Pool Spa if you feel uncomfortable or sleepy.
- Do not turn the Inflatable Pool Spa on when it is empty, as this can cause irreparable damage to the pump system and void the warranty.
- To prevent freezing in colder weather, the Inflatable Pool Spa is fitted with 365 FreezeGuard Technology. Set the temperature to 5°C to prevent water from freezing.
- Always add chemicals to a jug of water to avoid strong fumes or hazardous chemical sprays.
- To avoid accidental resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device (like a timer) or connected to a circuit regularly switched on/off by the utility.
- WARNING: Adequate drainage must be provided for overflow.
- IMPORTANT: For setup/installation, the surface must be smooth, flat, level, and capable of evenly supporting the weight of the Spa, water, and users. For example, a 6 Person Square Inflatable Pool Spa filled weight is approximately 980kg plus occupant weight. The Spa owner is responsible for site integrity.
WARNING - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! Do not operate pump and heating system whilst the Pool Spa is empty. This can damage the system and void your warranty.

How to Install LED Lighting
IMPORTANT NOTE - BEFORE FILLING YOUR INFLATABLE POOL SPA: If your Inflatable Pool Spa comes with LED lights, please follow these instructions.
FIT LED LIGHTS LOOSELY TO ALLOW THE INFLATABLE POOL SPA TO EXPAND WHEN FILLED.
Correct installation of your LED lights is extremely important. Failure to follow instructions carefully may result in their early failure. Correct installation will ensure they stay working every time you use your Inflatable Pool Spa. Ensure lights are not installed too tightly; they must be fitted loosely, with freedom to move between the retention loops on the base of the hot tub to allow the lighting strip to expand when filled with water.
Allow some excess strip across each gap to reduce stress on the lighting.
Failure to do this can reduce the lifespan of your lighting.
Light Kit Parts:

Press 'FILTER' (red light appears), and the pump starts. Press 'FILTER' again to stop the pump (red light goes out). After approximately 168 hours, 'FC' will appear on the display screen with a warning tone. The red light on 'FILTER' will be lit, but the pump and heating system will not be operational. To ensure the filtration system is off, press 'FILTER' again; the 'FC' display and warning tone will disappear, and water temperature will be displayed, returning all functions to normal. 'FC' and the warning tone indicate it's time to replace the filter.
Maintenance & Repair of Your Inflatable Pool Spa
Water Level:
Water should be filled and maintained between the 'Min' and 'Max' fill lines indicated on the inner wall of your Inflatable Pool Spa.
Importance of Water Treatment:
You need to regularly monitor and appropriately treat the water in your Inflatable Pool Spa.
People with the Following Traits are at Higher Risk:
- Diabetes, lung, and heart disease
- Smokers and heavy drinkers
- Anyone with an impaired immune system
- People suffering from chronic respiratory or kidney disease.
For more information, contact your doctor.
Water and Legionnaires' Disease:
Legionnaires' disease can be contracted by inhaling small droplets of water (aerosols) suspended in the air that contain the bacteria. Certain conditions increase the risk of Legionella if:
- Water temperature in parts or all of the system is between 20-45°C (68°F-113°F), which is suitable for bacterial growth.
- Breathable water droplets can be created, and water is stored and/or re-circulated.
- Deposits supporting bacterial growth (e.g., rust, sludge, scale, organic matter, biofilms) are present, providing nutrients for the organism.
Cleaning & Storing Away Your Inflatable Pool Spa
Cleaning Your Inflatable Pool Spa:
Detergent residues, dissolved solids from bathing suits, and chemicals will gradually accumulate in the water. To clean your Inflatable Pool Spa, use soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
Please note: DO NOT use hard brushes or abrasive cleaners.
Repairing Punctures:
If your Inflatable Pool Spa is torn or punctured, use the provided repair patches. Ensure the area to be repaired is completely dry. Apply strong adhesive to the repair patch and cover the damaged area. Smooth the surface to remove air bubbles. Allow to dry for 12 hours before using the Inflatable Pool Spa.
How to Empty Your Inflatable Pool Spa:
- Firstly, remove the Inflatable Pool Spa plug from the electrical mains.
- Remove the screw cap from the water outlet (L) (below the pump system), ensuring the Drainage Plug (G) is still inserted to prevent unexpected draining.
- Screw the inflation hose (D) onto the water outlet (L) and direct the open end of the hose appropriately.
- Remove the drainage plug (G) from the outlet within the floor of the Inflatable Pool Spa so water can flow out.
- Once drained, use a sponge to absorb excess water. Then, operate the air jet function for up to 20 minutes (one full cycle) to drain any remaining water and dry out the pipeline. Repeat if not completely dry.
- When draining is finished, remove the inflation hose (D) and replace the drainage plug (G) and water outlet cap (L).
How to Deflate Your Inflatable Pool Spa:
- Locate the black two-part air valve on the spa (see point 9 in 'Setting Up').
- Fully unscrew and remove the rapid deflation air valve by turning it anti-clockwise (K).
- Fold the spa away carefully, directing and removing as much air as possible through the open valve.
Storing Your Inflatable Pool Spa:
Ensure all water is completely drained from the Inflatable Pool Spa and pump system. This is vital for extending the life of your Inflatable Pool Spa. Use a wet/dry vacuum to blow out or suck up water from the pipes and pump lines. Remove the filter cartridge.
The Inflatable Pool Spa should be placed in the provided bag and stored in a dry place, ideally raised off the floor and away from extreme temperatures.
Please note: Plastic becomes brittle and susceptible to breakage when exposed to subzero temperatures, which can severely damage your Inflatable Pool Spa.
Cleaning the Water Filter Cartridge & Mesh Filter:
If using your Inflatable Pool Spa 2-3 times per week, it is suggested to change your filter every 2 weeks for optimal performance.
- Remove the filter protector cover (C), then remove the filter cartridge (B).
- The filter cartridge can be rinsed under a cold tap and reused. If it remains soiled/discoloured, or if holes are present or the paper is worn, replace it with a new one.
- We DO NOT recommend using pressurized water to clean any Inflatable Pool Spa filters.
- Replace the filter protector cover (C) over the filter cartridge (B) and attach it to the filter connector (N) by turning clockwise.
To keep your water clean, check your filter cartridge daily. To order filters and chemicals for your Inflatable Pool Spa, please visit: www.SereneLifeHome.com
