Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the PeriPage Mini Printer by PikDik.
Key Components
- Power Button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on/off. Double-click to print the device connection QR code. Click once to terminate printing.
- Paper Change Button: Press both buttons simultaneously to open the cover and exchange paper.
- Type-C Data Cable Port: Used for charging with a power bank or mobile phone charger.
Power Indicator Status
- Green Light On: Normal use status or fully charged.
- Red Light On: Cover opened, no paper, over-heat, or charging.
- Green Light Flashing: Paper suction mode. Ensure folded paper is installed.
- Red Light Flashing: Low battery. Please charge in time.
How to Print
Mobile App Printing
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the printer.
- Search for and download the [MetaPrint] APP from your mobile app store.
- Open the [MetaPrint] App. Search for and connect to the printer as prompted. Alternatively, double-click the power button to print a QR code, then scan it with the App to connect. (Tip: Do not connect the printer via your phone's Bluetooth settings directly.)
- Select and edit content within the App, confirm, and print.
App Download:
Search for [MetaPrint] on Google Play or the App Store, or scan the provided QR code to download the app.
Computer Printing
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the printer.
- Connect the printer to your computer using the original Type-C data cable.
- Visit the official website www.pikdik.com to download and install the printer driver.
- When printing documents, select the PeriPage printer.
Replacing Paper
Standard Paper Replacement
To replace paper, press the left and right paper exchange buttons simultaneously to open the cover. Place paper with the printing side facing up, ensuring the paper edge is positioned correctly. Close the cover by pressing it down until it clicks shut.
Steps:
- Open The Cover: Press the left and right paper exchange buttons simultaneously.
- Put Paper: Place paper with the printing side facing up. Ensure the paper edge is positioned correctly over the printer mechanism.
- Close The Cover: Press the cover down until it clicks shut.
Folding Paper Installation Guide
Instructions:
- Unpack: Remove the folded paper from its packaging. Ensure there is enough buffer space for paper feeding.
- Take out Paper: Remove the top layer of paper, ensuring the printing side faces up. Note the black label on the back of the paper.
- Loading Paper: Align the paper with the paper inlet. Insert it until it is securely sucked in and cannot be pulled out. Ensure the paper housing is empty and the cover is tightly closed. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the printer.
- Tear Paper: After printing, tear off the printed sheet along the tear line.
Charging and Maintenance
Charging Instructions
- Use a 5V/2A input mobile phone charger for charging.
- Charge the battery fully before the first use.
- If the printer is not used for an extended period (over 3 months), charge it periodically to prevent natural loss of battery capacity.
Cleaning the Printer Head
Steps:
- Turn off the printer and open the cover. Remove any paper.
- Dip a cotton cloth or cotton swab in medical alcohol. Gently wipe the printer head from the center outwards.
- After cleaning, wait for 1 to 2 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate completely before using the printer again.
