Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Device not found by app: Bluetooth may be slow. Try reopening the app and rebooting the device. Reinstalling the app or contacting customer service may also help.
- Printing blank paper: The label paper might be inserted in reverse. Ensure the sticker side faces up.
- Printer keeps feeding paper: Check for label residue on sensors, the paper bin, or the print head. Ensure you are using compatible PikDik label paper, as other brands may cause issues. If problems persist, the detectors might be malfunctioning.
- Printing suddenly stops: The printer has safety features that halt printing due to issues like 'lack of paper', 'cover open', or 'overheating'. Check the printer's status.
- Centering label content: In the app's text editing mode, use the 'T' options for alignment (center, left, right). You can also drag the text box with your fingers to adjust position.
- Batch printing support: The D11 supports batch printing. The app allows up to 999 labels per batch, though the practical limit may be around 200 labels depending on label size.
- Blank paper and cracking sound: Ensure 0.1-0.2 inches of label paper is left outside the slot. The paper may also be used up and needs replacement.
- Printing offset issues: Ensure you are using PikDik label paper. If the device cannot detect the paper, the detector may be malfunctioning. Check for paper jams or residue on the print head or in the paper bin.
- Automatic shut down: The printer automatically shuts down after 15 minutes of inactivity or Bluetooth disconnection to save power.
- Frequent Bluetooth disconnection: This could be due to a Bluetooth system crash. Try rebooting your phone and the device's Bluetooth.
- Faint or gray printouts: The preset number of labels may have been exceeded, or incompatible label paper is being used. The printer might also be malfunctioning.
Warnings
- Ensure the paper bin is clean. A clogged print head can be damaged during printing. Clean the paper bin and print head with isopropyl alcohol.
- Turn off the power immediately if the printer malfunctions.
- Do not disassemble the printer, as it contains complex internal components.
- Charge the battery in a cool, airy environment. Avoid high temperatures, humidity, or water contact to prevent short circuits, overheating, or explosion. If the power adapter contacts liquid, disconnect power immediately. If smoke or odor is detected, unplug the adapter and handle with care to avoid burns.
- Do not squeeze, shake, modify, or use a damaged power adapter or cord.
- When unplugging the printer, hold the power adapter, not the cable, to prevent cable damage.
- Do not use the printer near flammable materials.
- Avoid using the printer while it is charging or when the battery is low.

The print head is guaranteed for 3 months or 30 km of printing (whichever comes first). Other parts are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Warranty services are void if:
- The printer is disassembled, repaired, or modified without authorization.
