The Samsung SolarCell Remote is designed for efficient and user-friendly control of your Samsung TV. It features a solar cell for charging, reducing the need for traditional batteries, and offers advanced functions like voice control and accessibility features.
Key Features and Components:
The remote control has the following main components:
- Solar Cell (6): Located on the back, it charges the remote when exposed to light, extending its operating time.
- USB Port (C-type) (7): Used for quick charging when light exposure is insufficient. A USB cable is not provided.
- MIC / LED (1): Serves as a microphone for voice recognition and an LED indicator for charging status.
- Voice Assistant Button: Activates the voice assistant feature.
- Settings / Number / Color Button: Accesses the settings menu, virtual numeric keypad, or color buttons.
- Multi View Button: Directly accesses the Multi View function.
- Directional Buttons (2): Used for navigating menus and highlighting items.
- Select Button (3): Confirms selections or runs focused items.
- Return Button: Navigates back to the previous menu or terminates functions.
- Smart Hub Button: Returns to the TV's Home Screen.

Usage and Pairing
Pairing: If the remote does not pair automatically, point it at the TV and press and hold the [Power] and [Return] buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds.
Operating Distance: Use the remote within 20 feet (6 meters) of the TV. The effective range may vary based on wireless environmental conditions.
Universal Remote Function: This function works correctly only with the Samsung Smart Remote supplied with the TV.
Model Variations: Images, buttons, and functions may differ based on the model or geographical region.
Charging: It is recommended to use an original Samsung charger. Charging via the USB-C port is available for low battery situations. The LED indicator shows charging status.
Button Functionality: Some buttons may not function depending on the apps installed on the TV. Button layout may differ from older TV models.

- Learn TV Remote: Helps users learn button positions by announcing button names when pressed. Press [Return] twice to exit.
- Learn Menu Screen: Explains the structure and features of TV menus.
- Caption Settings: Enables captions for programs. Supports various caption modes (Default, CC1-CC4, Text1-Text4, Service1-Service6) for analog and digital broadcasts, with options for digital caption appearance (font, color, size, position).
- Multi-output Audio: Allows simultaneous use of TV speakers and a Bluetooth device, with adjustable volume levels for the Bluetooth device.
