Warning Labels
Warning labels with a specific symbol, located on various vehicle components, indicate that components should not be touched or adjusted before familiarizing yourself with the relevant instructions in the manual.
Labels with another symbol indicate that the ignition system operates under high voltage. Do not touch ignition system components when the ignition is on.
Label Locations and Descriptions
The following list details the locations and purposes of various labels:
- Hood latch platform – Air conditioning (A/C) system label.
- Top of the battery – Warning symbols related to safe battery handling.
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is stamped on a plate visible through the lower left part of the windshield. This number is also stamped on the right suspension strut.
Notes
When contacting a dealer or authorized workshop, you may be asked for the VIN.
The vehicle's production date is the calendar month and year the vehicle left the assembly line, meaning the date of assembly of the vehicle (body and powertrain units). The vehicle's production date is indicated on the tire pressure label attached to the right "B" pillar.
The vehicle's assembly date is indicated on the VIN label.

5. "B" pillar base – VIN plate.
6. "B" pillar base or inner side of the front door: Tire pressure label, airbag warning label.
7. Central part of the "B" pillar – Side airbag warning label.
8. Inner side of the fuel filler flap – Fuel information label.
Engine Number
9. Engine Number:
- 3.0 L gasoline engine – the number is located on the camshaft cover of the right cylinder bank.
- 2.0 L diesel engine – the number is located on the intake manifold.
- 3.0 L diesel engine – the number is located on the front of the camshaft cover of the left cylinder bank.
