Air Flow Requirements
Proper air circulation is crucial for optimal cooling performance and longevity of the refrigerator. Insufficient air flow can lead to reduced cooling efficiency and a shortened lifespan. When installing the refrigerator into furniture or cabinetry, observe the following minimum clearances:
- Rear Clearance: A minimum of 50 mm (2 inches) is required behind the unit.
- Side Clearance: A minimum of 50 mm (2 inches) is required on the sides of the unit.
- Top Clearance: A minimum of 50 mm (2 inches) is required above the unit.
These clearances ensure adequate ventilation for heat dissipation from the compressor and condenser.
Condensation Drain
The refrigerator produces condensation, which is collected and drained away. Ensure the condensation drain tube is correctly connected and routed:
- Locate the drain outlet on the refrigerator.
- Connect the provided drain tube securely to the outlet.
- Route the drain tube to a suitable drainage point, ensuring it is not kinked and allows for gravity flow. The diagram shows a typical connection and routing.
Installation Procedures
DC Power Connection
For 12V or 24V DC operation:
- Ensure the power source is switched off.
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of the refrigerator to the positive (+) terminal of the battery or power supply using appropriate gauge wiring (refer to diagram for recommended wire gauge based on cable length and current). A minimum wire cross-section of 4 mm² is recommended.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal of the refrigerator to the negative (-) terminal of the battery or power supply.
- A fuse (e.g., 15 A for 12V, 15 A for 24V) should be installed in the positive line as close to the power source as possible for protection.
- The diagram shows recommended wire gauges for different current loads and distances.
AC Power Connection
For 100-240V AC operation:
- Ensure the power source is switched off.
- Connect the refrigerator's AC power cord to a suitable grounded AC outlet. The unit supports 100-240V AC input.

Reversing Door
The refrigerator door can be reversed to open from either the left or right side. Follow these steps:
- Carefully remove the door by unscrewing the hinge pins or brackets.
- Transfer the hinge components (pins, brackets, door handle) to the opposite side of the refrigerator.
- Reattach the door securely, ensuring proper alignment.

Fixing the Refrigerator
Secure the refrigerator in its installation location using the provided mounting hardware:

- Ensure the unit is stable and level.

Sliding Hinge Installation
