6. Modes of Operation

7. Schedule

The schedule has 4 periods per day, typical for a weekday. You can skip periods not applicable to your situation (e.g., skip periods 2 and 3 for weekends).

Comfort ([Comfort Icon]) temperature is used in periods 1 and 3; Economy ([Economy Icon]) temperature is used in periods 2 and 4. For example, when transitioning from period 1 to 2, the setpoint automatically changes from Comfort to Economy.

You can set different programs for each day of the week.

Default Schedule Example:

Period Description MO TU WE TH FR SA SU
[Comfort Icon] Wake 6:00 AM 6:00 AM 6:00 AM 6:00 AM 6:00 AM 6:00 AM 6:00 AM
[Economy Icon] Leave 8:00 AM 8:00 AM 8:00 AM 8:00 AM 8:00 AM --:-- --:--

[Economy Icon] Sleep 10:00 PM 10:00 PM 10:00 PM 10:00 PM 10:00 PM 10:00 PM 10:00 PM

To modify the schedule:

  2. Press [Set Day] to select the day to program (hold for 3 seconds to select the entire week).
  3. Use [Set Hour] and [Set Minute] to set the start time for the selected period, or press [Skip Period] to skip the period (--:-- displayed).
  4. Press [Program Schedule] for another period or [Set Day] for another day, then repeat step 3.
  5. Press [Mode Select] to exit programming mode.

Note: If no button is pressed for 60 seconds, the thermostat will automatically exit programming mode.

8. Power Outage

During a power outage, 'LP' (Low Power) appears for the first minute, then the screen blanks. Settings are stored in memory. After initial installation, the product requires at least two hours of power to enable the power outage memory feature. If a power failure exceeds 4 hours, the clock must be reset, and the Daylight Savings Time function may need to be re-enabled. Upon power restoration, the thermostat returns to its previous operating mode.

9. Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Thermostat is hot. Under normal operation, the thermostat housing can reach temperatures between 35°C (95°F) and 40°C (104°F).
'LO' is displayed. The measured temperature is below the display range. Heating is activated.
'HI' is displayed. The measured temperature is above the display range.
Wrong temperature is displayed. The thermostat is exposed to an air draft; eliminate the draft. Ensure the sticker on the thermostat's screen has been removed.
Wrong time is displayed. The thermostat was without power for more than 4 hours.
Temperature does not change according to the programmed schedule. Ensure the thermostat is in Automatic mode. Check schedule and clock settings.
'LP' appears on the screen or the screen is blank despite no power outage. The thermal circuit breaker in the heater may have opened due to obstruction or defect. Check for obstructions or a faulty breaker.
Display looks faded when heating is activated. The heating system's minimum load may be less than required. This thermostat cannot be used below its minimum load rating.
The settings cannot be changed. The settings are locked (see Section 3).
'E1'/'E2' is displayed. The thermostat's sensor may have an error. Contact technical support for assistance.
