Vehicle/Battery Connection
OBDII/EOBD Test
Follow these steps to connect the tester for OBDII/EOBD diagnostics:
- Locate the data link connector (DLC) under the dash on the driver side of the vehicle.
- Plug the tester to the vehicle DLC with the OBDII adapter.
- Switch the ignition key to the ON position.
- Choose OBDII/EOBD APP to start the test.

Battery Test
Before testing the battery inside a vehicle, ensure all accessory loads are cut off, the ignition key is not in the ON position, and the doors are closed.
- Connect the current clamp cable to the OBDII adapter of the scanner.
- Clean the battery posts or side terminals.
- Connect the red clamp to the positive [plus-terminal] terminal and the black clamp to the negative [minus-terminal] terminal.
- When the tester is correctly connected, choose the Battery App to start the test.

- Red LED Display: Indicates problems in one or more vehicle systems, with the MIL lamp illuminated on the instrument panel.

Updating the NT301Plus
The Upgrade Process
To update your NT301Plus tester, follow these steps:
- Download the update tool NT Wonder and install it on your PC.
- Enable NT Wonder and connect the NT301Plus to your computer using the USB cable.
- Click "Update online" or "Update offline" to start the update, depending on the software version conditions.
- An "Update Finished" message will display upon completion.
Important Notes for Updating:
- Do not disconnect the Tester from the computer or power off the computer during the update process.
- No registration is required.
- PC Requirements: Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 are supported.

To Print Test Results
Test results stored on the tester can be printed via a computer. Test data can only be imported to your computer through the NT Wonder software.
- Connect the tester to the computer using the provided USB cable.
- Launch NT Wonder and select the "Print" button from the menu.
- On the tester's home screen, select "Print Data" and choose the desired data.
- Click the "Print" key on the NT Wonder software to print the test data.
