Getting Started
1. Insert Batteries: Remove the battery cover. Insert 2 AAA batteries, matching the '+' and '-' marks. Replace the battery cover.
Tip: The POWER button will blink 5 times when batteries need replacement.
Setup Methods
Setup Method A: Popular Brands
Note: Ensure the TV is ON before starting setup.
- Press and hold SETUP until the POWER button blinks twice.
- Press the POWER button.
- Press and hold the DIGIT button for your TV brand.
- Release the button when your TV turns off. Setup is complete.
Success Indicator: 2 blinks = Success (?), 1 long blink = Failure (?)
Setup Method B: Code Search
- Press and hold SETUP until the POWER button blinks twice.
- Press the POWER button.
- Press and hold the SELECT button.
- Release the SELECT button when the TV turns off.
Setup Method C: Direct Code Entry
Note: Ensure the TV is ON before starting setup.
- Press and hold SETUP until the POWER button blinks twice.
- Enter the 1st TV code for your brand from the code list.
- Press the POWER button to test TV control. If the TV turns off, setup is complete.
- If the TV does not turn off, repeat with the next code for your TV brand.
Tip: For the exact code for your TV, use the CODE FINDER tool at REMOTES.COX.COM.

Functional Key Chart
- POWER: Turns TV ON/OFF. Hold for 3 seconds to enter programming.
- COX Button: Not specified in detail, but used in Setup Method B.
- GUIDE: Displays program guide.
- Navigation Buttons (Arrows, SELECT, EXIT): Use to navigate and select menu and guide options. EXIT exits the current menu.
- ZOOM: Press to stretch or shrink screen size horizontally and vertically.
- VOLUME +/-: Turns volume up and down.
- MUTE: Mutes the TV volume.
- DIGIT Buttons (0-9): Allows for direct access to specific channels.
- PAGE +/-: Use to tune channel up or down, also used for page navigation in the guide.
- LAST: Recalls the last channel viewed.
- INFO: Displays information for the currently selected program.
- CC: Press to turn closed captions on or off.
- INPUT: Used to cycle through video inputs on TV.
Troubleshooting
- Problem: The POWER button does not blink when a button is pressed.
Solution: Replace batteries. - Problem: TV does not respond when POWER or VOLUME buttons are pressed.
Solution: Program the remote control for your TV brand using instructions in Setup Method A, B, or C. - Problem: Tried all codes for my TV brand and none work.
Solution: Try CODE SEARCH (Setup Method B) or visit REMOTES.COX.COM for additional support and the CODE FINDER search tool.
FCC Notice
