Slider Overview
The slider has three operational modes:
- Pan Mode: The adjustable bar remains level as set by the scale marking.
- Focus Mode: The left adjustable bar is set higher than the right adjustable bar.
- Sweep Mode: The right adjustable bar is set higher than the left adjustable bar.
Assembling the Slider
The slider is pre-assembled before delivery. The assembly steps involve:
- Sliding the belt clamp into the left slot of the slider and securing it with side screws.
- Routing the belt through the bearing wheel and pulley as shown.
- Securely attaching the motor to the slider.
- Sliding the belt clamp into the right slot of the slider and tightening the screw.
Product Illustration & Remote Control Introduction
The remote control features an operation joystick, a display screen, a Type-C power port, a shutter jack, an NP-F series battery holder, and a power switch.
Pairing a Device with the Slider
The product is pre-configured for pairing. To pair:
- Press and hold the joystick on the remote control.
- Turn on the remote control.
- Turn on the motor.
- The indicator light will flash red and green alternately.
- Pairing is successful after approximately 3 seconds.
Power Sources
Power can be supplied using Sony NP-type batteries or a compatible alternative. Alternatively, a 5V/2A power bank or adapter can be used via the Type-C port.
Using the Joystick
The joystick controls movement:
- Left/Right: Move the joystick left or right for left/right movement. Center to release.
- Up/Down: Move the joystick up or down for up/down movement. Center to release.
- Confirm: Press the joystick to confirm.
- Exit: Press and hold the joystick for 2 seconds to exit.
A/B Point Setting
After powering on, the slider automatically searches for points A and B. You can manually set point A by moving the joystick vertically and point B by moving it left and right, then pressing the joystick to confirm.
To set points A and B:
- Move the joystick left and right to set point A. Press the joystick to confirm.
- Move the joystick left and right to set point B. Press the joystick to confirm. The device will then enter the main interface.
Reset A/B Point
The interface allows for resetting A/B points.
Video Mode
In Video Mode, you can configure:
- Ramp: Controls acceleration and deceleration at start/stop. Options: Yes (Y), No (N), Off.
- Loop: Enables continuous cycling. Options: Yes (Y), No (N), Off.
- Manual: Move the joystick fully left or right to start the slider; it stops when released.
- Start Point: Select to begin from point A or point B.
- Start: Initiate or pause the movement.
- Duration: Total time for the movement (automatically calculated).
Time-lapse Photography Mode
In Time-lapse Mode, configure:
- Interval: Time between each photo.
- Exposure: Camera shutter exposure time.
- Frames: Total number of photos to be taken.
- Motinless: Completes shooting at the original position.
- Start Point: Choose to start from point A or point B.
- Start: Start or pause the sequence.
- Duration: Total time for the time-lapse (automatically calculated).
Settings:
- Language: Supports English and Chinese.
- Factory Init: Resets all settings to factory defaults.
- Delay: Time delay before shooting begins.
Note: H = hours, M = minutes, S = seconds. The default minimum interval time is longer than the exposure time by 2 seconds.
