Heat Press Machine Parts Introduction
The heat press machine features an overload protector design, a display for temperature and time, a power switch, and controls for mode, minus, plus, and start.
It also includes a mechanism for heat pressure adjustment, utilizing springs and a rotation lock screw for swiveling pressure adjustment.
Parts List
The machine comes with various parts labeled A through J. The specific parts included depend on the model (5-in-1, 6-in-1, or 8-in-1 Heat Press).
A Phillips screwdriver can be used as a slotted screwdriver by rotating it 180 degrees.
Assembly & Use Steps
- Tighten knob: Secure the main unit by tightening the knob.
- Prepare for transfer: Rotate the heat transfer board to the side. Pull out the mat, place the garment flat on it, and position the pattern on the garment.
- Adjust pressure: Use the adjustment switch to set the desired pressure.
Intelligent Temperature Controller Operation Method
I. Preparation Before Using:
- Ensure the power plug is securely connected to the electrical socket and that the machine is properly grounded.
- Plug the electrical cord into the machine and then plug the socket into the wall outlet. Turn the machine on using the on/off switch.
II. Set Temperature Required:
Set the temperature and time according to the table below, based on the object being transferred.
Object | Initial Temperature (°F) | Highest Temperature (°F) | Proper Heating Time (s) |
---|---|---|---|
Mugs | 230 | 330 | 40 |
Tiles | 230 | 330 | 40 |
Metal board | 230 | 300 | 40 |
Plate | 230 | 355 | 150 (Sublimation paper: 30-50s) |
T-shirt | 230 | 355 | T-shirt Paper: 10-20s |
A. Initial Temperature Setting: Press 'MODE' once (set light turns red), then use '+' or '-' to set the initial heating temperature.
B. Highest Temperature Setting: Press 'MODE' a second time (temperature light turns red), then use '+' or '-' to set the highest heating temperature.
C. Proper Heating Time Setting: Press 'MODE' a third time (time light turns red), then use '+' or '-' to set the proper heating time.
D. Fahrenheit to Celsius Conversion: Turn on the machine, press '+' and '-' simultaneously for about five seconds. When 'PAE' is displayed, press 'MODE' to show '(F-C)'. Change F to C in the time display gear.
D. Finish the Setting and Stands by to Work:
Press 'MODE' a fourth time to finish setting. The set light will illuminate, and the temperature will rise. When the set maximum temperature is reached, a countdown begins. A 'BEEF' sound indicates completion, and the machine enters standby mode.
Note: The machine has a self-locking function for temperature settings. For example, if the starting temperature is set to 340°F, the maximum temperature range will be limited from 340°F to 430°F. Conversely, if the maximum temperature is set to 250°F, the starting temperature range will be limited from 200°F to 250°F. The initial heating temperature should always be less than or equal to the highest heating temperature.
Caution: Turn off the power and unplug the mat. It is recommended to wear heat-resistant gloves when removing items or wait 2-3 minutes. Be careful of hot surfaces.
Replacing Parts
Replace Baking Tray Mat:
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the pressure plate.
- Unplug the machine and rotate the heat transfer board to the side.
- Select the appropriate size baking pan mat (Part A or B).
- Plug the machine back in and place the patterned plate.
Replace Baking Cap Mat:
- Unscrew the four butterfly screws at the bottom.
- Loosen the bottom screw and remove the old cushion.
- Lift the cushion up.
- Install the baking pad (Part D).
- Take two cup head screws and lock them into the hole in the middle of the cap press, leaving 5-7mm. Clip the cup head screw into the slot along the indicated route and lock with a screwdriver. Insert the male head of the cap press plug into the female head of the controller and tighten the nut.
Replace Baking Coaster:
- Install Part G to Part E, tightening screws on both sides.
- Select the appropriate size baking coaster (Part F or H) and place the cup in Part E.
- Plug in and adjust tightness.
- Install Part I or J to Part E, tightening screws on both sides. Place the cup in Part E and plug in, then adjust tightness.
III. Printing Methods
Adjust the pressure to your requirement. Plug in the power cord and turn the power switch ON.
The temperature will rise. Set the initial temperature, highest temperature, and press time.
When the temperature reaches the initial temperature, a short 'BEEF' sound will be emitted. Press the button once. Place the object (e.g., T-shirt) on the press bed and pull down the handle to press the object.
Wait for the set time to end, indicated by a long buzzer sound. The machine will then enter standby mode or automatically lower the temperature to the initial setting.
Remove the object and turn off the power switch.
IV. Trouble Shooting for Transfer Quality
- Pale Color/Light Transfer: Temperature too low, pressure incorrect, or insufficient pressing time.
- Blurring Pattern: Excessive transfer time causing spreading.
- Part Blurring of Pattern: Uneven heat distribution from the heat plate. Adjust pressure using the four plate surface adjusters.
- Dull Surface of Pattern: Pressure too high or temperature too high.
- Scarred Pattern: Transfer time too long.
- Different Pattern Color: Incorrect pressure or poor quality transfer paper.
- Adhesive Paper: Temperature too high or poor quality printing ink.
CAUTION
- Check the correct voltage before use and ensure reliable grounded protection.
- Turn off and disconnect the power supply before replacing heating units. Wear insulated gloves if the unit is still hot.
- Avoid prolonged burning of heating parts. Use a scrap material for protection if the machine is left on. Avoid damaging heating units with sharp objects.
- Do not touch heating units or compression springs without protection.
- If the handle is difficult to push, adjust the rotation lock screw to reduce spring pressure.
- When lifting the machine, lock the machine head with the rotation lock screw and loosen the handle. Do not lower the machine beyond its limit.
- Keep children away from the machine.
- Do not attempt to press unintended products. Avoid empty burning of baking pads.
Precautions: The area 1.5cm from the edge of the heating plate is a non-hot stamping area.
