RIVA Luminaire Installation Guide

This guide provides essential safety instructions and step-by-step assembly procedures for the RIVA luminaire by NEONA.

Safety Instructions for Installation

Please read these instructions carefully before starting installation. They are intended to ensure your safety and the safe operation of the light.

  1. If you are unsure, electrical work should be carried out by a qualified person. Improper installation can lead to electric shocks, fires or other hazards. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper installation.
  2. Before starting installation work, it is essential to switch off the fuse to avoid the risk of electric shock.
  3. Please ensure that your ceiling is suitable for the weight of the luminaire and can support it permanently. Only use suitable fixing materials for the respective masonry.
  4. Check whether the enclosed wall plugs are suitable for your ceiling material - alternative wall plugs should be used if necessary.
  5. Do not use any damaged, faulty or incomplete parts.
  6. When drilling, take care not to damage any electricity or water pipes.

Installation in 6 Steps:

The following steps detail the assembly process:

  1. Switch off the power at the fuse box. Mark the drill holes on the ceiling and drill the holes.
  2. Fix the enclosed dowels in the drilled holes.
  3. Screw the ceiling cross to the ceiling.
  4. Connect the cables from the ceiling outlet to those of the transformer of the luminaire in the cable box.
  5. Fix the ceiling bracket to the ceiling cross using the screws provided.
  6. If necessary, shorten the ropes by pushing the pin into the rope holder, lengthen the ropes again by pushing the pin and pulling the rope out. Then release the pin to fix the hanging depth.

Control the light with a toggle switch. The light can be dimmed in 3 stages. To do this, press the toggle switch three times in quick succession to cycle through all three brightness levels.
