Series Overview
Available in VHF or UHF versions and as models with or without a display, the DX400 Series sets the standard for the next generation of explosion-proof portable onboard radios.
Standard equipment includes both analog and digital operating modes, a highly visible OLED display, user-friendly controls designed for use with gloves, and IP68 protection class for the best possible protection against water ingress, allowing the device to remain undamaged for 4 hours at a depth of 2 meters.

The DX-IS Series delivers loud and intelligible audio, essential for working in noisy environments. The accessory range includes a robust locking connector, a high-quality cable, and intelligent voice optimization technology that automatically adapts the audio to the connected accessory type, ensuring optimal performance.

Approved and certified to UL913, for users who do not need to comply with the European ATEX directive.
Voice Announcement (Models without Display Only) ?️
This programmable feature is only available on our models without a display. It assures the user they have selected the correct channel. This function also provides confirmation of button settings, e.g., 'Key Lock On', 'Key Lock Off', and warns the user of low battery status.

Available only on UHF models, the digital mode of the DX-IS Series eliminates analog noise and interference, providing crystal-clear audio, increased range, and longer battery life. The DX-IS Series also supports analog mode, ensuring backward compatibility with all existing analog radios on board.
Reprogram Your Radios Easily – Even at Sea! ?
With our free, unique, and easy-to-use PC app, you can easily reprogram DX-IS radios directly on board. The user-friendly app allows simple drag-and-drop of a new programming file from an email to your DX-IS radio(s). This is a simple and intuitive process that can be performed by the user themselves.
