Setup Guide
Plug the Logitech Unifying Receiver into a USB port on your computer.
Open the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard by pulling the tab. Insert the two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
Your keyboard is now ready for basic use.
To enable and customize keyboard hotkeys (F-keys and media keys), install the Logitech® SetPoint™ Software.

- Press and hold the Fn key.

Customizing Your Keyboard with SetPoint Software
The Logitech SetPoint software provides advanced customization options for your keyboard.
- Double-click the "Mouse and Keyboard Settings" icon on your Windows desktop to make changes.
- To customize the keyboard, click the "My Keyboard" tab.
- A series of tabs will be displayed on the left. Click on a tab, such as "Keyboard F-key Settings".
- The screen will show an image of the keyboard, indicating the F-keys (list 2) to which tasks can be assigned (list 3).
- In the "Select F-key" list, highlight the F-key you wish to reassign a task to.
- In the "Select Task" list, highlight the new task.
- When you are finished, click "OK" to save the new F-key assignments.
You can use a similar procedure to specify changes on other keyboard tabs, including:
- Defining settings for F-keys.
- Defining settings for hotkeys.
- Checking battery level.
- Disabling keys you don't use often.
Logitech Unifying Receiver
The Logitech Unifying receiver allows you to connect multiple compatible wireless devices (like mice and keyboards) to a single USB receiver, simplifying your setup. To add more devices:
- Start the Logitech Unifying software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair new devices.

Troubleshooting
Keyboard Not Working
- Power Status: Ensure the keyboard's power switch is in the ON position. The battery LED should illuminate green.
- Battery Check: Verify the battery installation or replace them. The keyboard uses two AA alkaline batteries.
- Unifying Receiver Check: Connect the Unifying receiver to a different USB port. Remove any metal objects situated between the Unifying receiver and the keyboard that might interfere with reception.
- Re-establish Connection: Use the Unifying software to reset the connection between the keyboard and the Unifying receiver. Refer to the Unifying section in this guide for more information.
- Proximity: Try moving the keyboard closer to the Unifying receiver, or connect the Unifying receiver to the extender cable to bring it closer to the keyboard.
- Software Installation: Install the Logitech SetPoint Software to enable and customize keyboard hotkeys (F-keys, Zoom keys, Vista keys, and media keys).
- Restart Computer: Restart your computer.
