Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the AstroAI 100 PSI Portable Car Air Pump. This product is a programmable air compressor pump with a digital screen that monitors air pressure while inflating. Once the preset air pressure is reached, the air pump will automatically shut off. Warning

• Carefully read the instructions before use. Incorrect usage may damage the product.
• Check the preset pressure value before inflating. The preset pressure value should match the object to be inflated.
• PSI, kPa, Bar, and kg/cm² are the pressure units, not the pressure levels.
• Please do not use this product in the rain or near any liquids.
• This product contains small accessories that can pose a choking hazard to young children. Keep out of reach of children. If there are children nearby, make sure they are properly supervised.
• Do not aim the nozzle at people or any part of a human body.
• Risk of electric shock: do not use this product if it is damaged or its wires are exposed.
• Keep this device away from fire, corrosive gases, liquids, and strong magnetic fields.
• Avoid storing this device in hot or humid conditions.
• Do not use this product with a 24 V car power supply. Connect the device to a 12 V DC, 15 A cigarette lighter.
• Avoid extended and continuous use. The maximum time for continuous use is 15 minutes.
• After 15 minutes of continuous use, let the air pump rest for 10 minutes before using it again.
• When not in use, disconnect the pump from all power sources.
• During use, do not touch any parts of the pump apart from the switch and handle. The device gets hot during use and stays hot for some time after use.
• Do not use chemical cleaners to clean the air pump. Only use mild soap and a cloth dipped in hot water to clean the plastic parts.

Instructions

1. Ensure that your car engine is running before using the pump.
2. Securely insert the cigarette lighter plug into your car's 12 V outlet to ensure a strong connection.
3. Press the Unit Button (M) to set the desired pressure unit (options: kPa, PSI, Bar, kg/cm²). The screen will display the selected unit.
4. Press the “+/- " Buttons to set your desired pressure value. Use the tire pressure guide on the inside of the driver's door for guidance. Make sure that the preset pressure is higher than the current pressure of your tire.
5. Remove the valve cap from the valve stem of your tire. Then, attach the quick connector to the valve stem.
6. (Optional: The LED flashlight is controlled by the Light Button. Press this button to turn it on/off.)
7. Turn on the air pump by pressing the inflation switch to the “I” position. The pump will begin inflating.
8. After the inflation is complete, the pump will automatically shut off. Disconnect the power cord from the 12 V outlet. Remove the quick connector from the valve stem. Place the tire valve cap back on the valve stem.
9. Press the inflation switch to the “O” position to turn off the pump and store it until next use.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

Slow Inflation

• The quick connector is not properly connected to the tire's valve stem. Ensure a firm connection.
• Excessive use of the pump will slow the inflation speed. Let it cool for at least 10 minutes.

The Air Pump Is Operating Abnormally

• The quick connector is not properly connected to the tire's valve stem.
• The 12 V outlet is not connected securely.
• The preset tire pressure is lower than the current tire pressure; increase the preset tire pressure to the manufacturer's recommended level.

Air Leaking Through the Hose

• Ensure there is a firm connection between the quick connector and the tire valve.

The Air Pump Will Not Inflate

• Ensure the in-line fuse is securely and correctly inserted; replace the fuse if necessary. Otherwise, reinstall the fuse.
• Check the vehicle's cigarette lighter fuse; it should be rated at 15 A.
• Ensure there is a strong connection between the power cord and the car's 12 V outlet.
• The preset tire pressure is lower than the current tire pressure; increase the preset tire pressure to the manufacturer's recommended level.
