Product Overview

The IKEA ORMANÄS is a smart LED lighting strip designed to enhance your living space with customizable colors and white spectrum lighting. It can be controlled via a remote control or integrated into a smart home system using the IKEA Home smart app and the DIRIGERA hub.

Getting Started

To begin using your ORMANÄS lighting strip, connect it to the mains power or plug the power cable into a wall socket. For wireless control, pair the light source with a steering device (remote control). Ensure the light source is installed and the main power switch is on. Hold the steering device close to the light source (within 5 cm) and press and hold the pairing button for at least 10 seconds until a red light appears on the steering device. The light source will dim and flash once to confirm successful pairing. Up to 10 light sources can be paired with one steering device.

Smart Home Integration

For advanced control, download the IKEA Home smart app. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your ORMANÄS lighting strip to the DIRIGERA hub. The app allows for a total of 20 colors and white lights, offering a wider range of customization.

Important Information & Care

Caution: Do not use with standard dimmers. The ORMANÄS lighting strip is intended for indoor use only and operates within temperatures of 5°C to 40°C. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent overheating. Clean with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents. Save these instructions for future reference.
