Product Overview

The Neewer RH8B Ring Light is constructed from high-strength plastic for portability and durability. It features a new design that is lightweight, compact, yet powerful. It is ideal for livestreaming, vlogging, and use in medical and cosmetic applications. This desktop ring light kit includes a desktop stand, a phone holder, and a ball head. It is equipped with an accessory shoe mount for additional accessory attachments.

Remote Control

The remote control features the following:

(1) ON/OFF Button: Slide the side switch to turn on or off.
(2) Screen: LED display.
(3) Mode Button: Short press to select CCT or FX mode.
(4) Sub-mode Button: Short press to select sub-modes within the current mode.
(5) Value + Button: Short press to select scenes or increase values. Long press for rapid increase.
(6) Value - Button: Short press to select scenes or decrease values. Long press for rapid decrease.

Desktop Stand Installation

Step 1: Remove the telescopic pole. Screw the base onto the pole clockwise and attach the ball head to the upper 1/4" screw.

Step 2: Insert the 1/4" screw on the ball head into the threaded hole at the bottom of the ring light and turn clockwise until securely tightened.

Phone Holder Installation

Step 1: Mount the phone holder at the desired position on the telescopic pole and push the metal clasp inwards to lock it in place.

Step 2: One side of the phone clamp can be manually extended to accommodate phones of different sizes.

Power Source

Connect the power adapter to a wall outlet and then connect it to the remote control using a USB Type-C cable for power supply.

CCT Mode

When the power is on, press the "M" button to select CCT mode. Short press the "SET" button to switch between CCT and INT sub-modes. In CCT sub-mode, short press the "+/-" buttons for adjustments.

INT Mode (within CCT)

SCENE Mode

When the power is on, press the "M" button to select SCENE mode. Short press the "SET" button to switch between FX and INT sub-modes. In FX sub-mode, short press the "+/-" buttons for scene selection.

Bluetooth Pairing

Turn on the remote control and go to your phone's Bluetooth settings to discover and connect to the device named "NEEWER Shutter". Open your phone's camera app and press the remote's trigger to take pictures.

Precautions

Avoid direct eye contact with the light to prevent eye damage.
Never attempt to disassemble or repair the product yourself, as this may lead to personal injury.
Always use the included or certified power cables and adapters.
Do not clean with alcohol or liquids.
Handle with care. Avoid hitting, colliding, or dropping the product.
Do not expose to direct sunlight for extended periods.
Unplug the power cable when not in use.
Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
Failure to follow the above may automatically void the warranty.

Battery Warning

If the indicator does not light up, check if the battery cover is loose or replace the battery.

Do not attempt to remove, modify, or repair the battery yourself. Unauthorized use may cause battery leakage, overheating, burns, and other hazards.
Be sure to use the included or certified chargers to prevent overcharging and shortcuts.
If unusual charging speed or blinking indicator occurs, stop charging and contact customer service immediately.
Keep away from flammable and explosive materials.
