NEEWER SRP16 LED Ring Light
Functions
The NEEWER SRP16 LED Ring Light offers adjustable color temperature and brightness, along with Bluetooth connectivity for remote control.
Color Temperature Adjustment
To adjust the color temperature, press the mode switch button until the color temperature icon 'C' is displayed. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the color temperature between 3200K and 5600K. For rapid adjustments, press and hold the '+' or '-' buttons.
Brightness Adjustment
To adjust the brightness, press the mode switch button until the brightness icon 'C' is displayed. Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the brightness level from 0% to 100%. For rapid adjustments, press and hold the '+' or '-' buttons.
Short-pressing the power button (labeled '●') toggles the ring light on and off.
Modes
Bluetooth Connectivity
To connect via Bluetooth, press and hold the power switch/Bluetooth button (labeled 'POWER') for 3 seconds. The Bluetooth icon ('*') will appear on the display and begin blinking. Once the blinking stops, the Bluetooth connection is successfully established.
APP Control
You can control the light using the 'NEEWER' APP by connecting your mobile phone's Bluetooth. For detailed instructions, scan the QR code on the APP prompt card to access the 'APP Guide Page'.
Ring Light Attachment Methods
Attaching the Ring Light
The ring light can be attached using various components. Key knobs include the light fixing knob and the stand fixing knob.
Attach the converter base to a stand and secure it by turning the stand fixing knob clockwise. Loosen the light fixing knob until the light body is free to move. Adjust the light to your desired angle, then tighten the light fixing knob to fix its position.
Converter Base Attachment
The converter base allows attachment to cameras and lights.
To attach to a camera: Insert the fixed knob (1) into the camera's socket and turn clockwise until the camera is securely fastened to the base.
To attach to the light: Mount the converter base onto the light's cold shoe mount. Turn the base fixing knob (3) clockwise until it is locked. Adjust the angle by turning the angle adjustment knob (2) clockwise until the camera is fully secured.
Phone Holder Attachment
The phone holder can be attached to the light setup.
To attach the phone holder: Insert the fixed knob (1) into the phone holder's socket and turn clockwise until the phone holder is secured to the base.
To attach to the light: Mount the converter base onto the light's cold shoe mount. Turn the base fixing knob (3) clockwise to lock it. Finally, place your phone into the holder.
Bluetooth Remote Control Connection
Connect the remote control to your mobile device for wireless operation.
Troubleshooting: If the remote control indicator light does not illuminate, please check if the battery cover is loose or if the battery needs to be replaced.
Precautions
- Do not look directly at the light during use. Prolonged exposure to the bright light can cause eye fatigue and potentially harm your vision.
- For users with Android phones, ensure that the GPS function is enabled before proceeding.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the product. Doing so may result in fire, electric shock, or product malfunction.
- Power the light using only the provided power adapter or compatible batteries.
- Avoid striking or dropping the light.
- If foreign objects come into contact with the touch panel, it may malfunction. If this occurs, turn off the light, then restart it. The device will revert to its original settings.
- Clean the light using a soft, dry cloth.
- Ensure the product is turned off when not in use.
- For Bluetooth connections, maintain a distance of no more than 5 miles (approximately 8 kilometers) between the product and your mobile phone.
