7.1 Information Regarding Operation
Workout (Sport Modes) Information:
- Use the built-in GPS for outdoor activities. The device searches for a GPS signal when starting an activity. Once a GPS signal is acquired, you can begin the activity. You can also start an activity without a GPS signal. Depending on the selected activity, the system may not be able to record all data without a GPS signal.
- Please note that it may take a few minutes for your smartwatch to acquire a GPS signal. This is especially true if you are using the built-in GPS for the first time, if you have not used it for a long time, or if you are in a location far from your last GPS position. To shorten the required time, connect your smartwatch to the app on your smartphone to transfer A-GPS data. A prompt may appear on your watch display in this case.
- Only the Smartwatch 6010 has built-in GPS and supports the following Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS): GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU.
Voice Assistant Information:
- The "Voice Assistant" function allows you to access the voice assistant of your paired and compatible smartphone by tapping the [ ] symbol. This requires a Bluetooth connection between the two devices. Communication with the voice assistant is audio-only. Compatibility is not guaranteed for all manufacturers or operating system versions. Restrictions may occur, especially with the Android operating system. If necessary, contact your smartphone manufacturer. It is possible that a software update is available for your smartphone that resolves this issue.
- For optimal use of the voice assistant, consider the following settings on your smartphone:
- Google Assistant (Android): Set Google Assistant as the default voice assistant on your Android smartphone and enable Siri usage in lock mode.
- Apple Siri (iOS): Activate Siri on your iPhone and enable Siri usage in lock mode.
Maintenance and Care
Clean the product with a lint-free, slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
Warranty Exclusion
Hama GmbH & Co KG assumes no liability or warranty for damages resulting from improper installation, assembly, or use of the product, or from failure to comply with the user manual and/or safety instructions.
