Remove the centre console from the vehicle using a socket set.
[Image Description: The center console unit is shown being lifted out of the vehicle's dashboard.]
Remove the 3 Phillips head screws holding the factory cupholder and steel bracket in place from the underside of the console.
[Image Description: The underside of the removed center console is shown, with hands pointing to and removing three Phillips head screws.]
Remove the Phillips head screw on the outside of the console and remove the metal support bracket and factory cupholder.
[Image Description: A hand is shown removing a Phillips head screw from the side of the console. The metal support bracket and old cupholder are also visible.]
Insert the new Double Cupholder into the console.
[Image Description: The new double cupholder unit is shown being placed into the opening in the center console.]
Insert the metal support bracket, line up and start threading the 2 x Phillips head screws through the metal support bracket and into the new cupholder.
[Image Description: The metal support bracket is aligned with the new cupholder, and hands are shown starting to thread two Phillips head screws through the bracket into the cupholder.]
Position the metal support bracket into place and insert and tighten the 1x Phillips head screw to attach the metal bracket to the console.
[Image Description: The metal support bracket is positioned correctly, and a hand is shown inserting and tightening one Phillips head screw to secure the bracket to the console.]
With the console on its side and the cupholder on top, apply pressure to the cupholder whilst tightening the 2 x Phillips head screws into the cupholder. This brings the cupholder as close to the console as possible so there isn't a gap.
[Image Description: The console is on its side. A hand is applying downward pressure to the new cupholder while tightening two Phillips head screws from the side to ensure a flush fit without gaps.]
Insert and tighten the exterior Phillips head screw under the cupholder, through the console and onto the metal support bracket through the factory hole. Be careful not to over tighten this screw as it will tighten the bottom to the console but create a gap at the top of the console.
[Image Description: A hand is shown tightening the final exterior Phillips head screw located underneath the cupholder, passing through the console and into the metal support bracket.]
Re insert the console into the vehicle.
[Image Description: The fully assembled console unit with the new cupholder is shown being placed back into its position in the vehicle.]
Crack open a cold beer and enjoy being able to hold more than 1 cup!
[Image Description: Drinks are placed in the new double cupholder, and a hand gives a thumbs-up gesture, indicating successful installation and use.]
