First Set-Up

1. Step 1: Open Chime Lid

   Open the lid of the chime unit to access the battery compartment.

2. Step 2: Insert Batteries into Chime

   Insert 3x AA batteries into the chime unit, observing correct polarity. A 'push to test' button is usually visible.

3. Step 3: Prepare Push Button

   Open the push button unit. Remove the battery isolator tab from the CR2032 battery.

4. Step 4: Install Push Button Battery

   Insert the CR2032 battery into the push button, observing correct polarity. Close the push button unit.

5. Step 5: Test

   Press the 'push to test' button on the chime unit. It should sound a melody.

Installation

Mount the chime unit and the push button in your desired locations.

Chime Unit Installation:

• Place the chime unit near a power socket.

Push Button Installation:

• Mount the push button outside your door. You can use screws (requiring drill bits of 6mm, 5mm, 3mm) or adhesive mounting (not explicitly shown but implied by typical doorbell installations).
• Ensure the push button is within the wireless range of the chime unit.

Pairing Multiple Chimes

To pair additional Byron chimes or push buttons with this set:

1. Step 1: Prepare Chime

   Ensure the chime unit has batteries inserted.

2. Step 2: Enter Pairing Mode

   Press and hold the pairing button on the chime unit for approximately 3 seconds until it indicates it's in pairing mode (e.g., a light or beep).

3. Step 3: Activate Push Button

   Press the push button within 30 seconds. The chime unit should respond with a melody, confirming successful pairing.

Troubleshooting: Reset

1. Step 1: Initiate Reset

   Press and hold the main button on the chime unit for 10 seconds.
