Philips MASTER VALUE LEDspot LV
MAS LED SPOT VLE D 7.5-50W MR16 940 60D
Product Description
The Philips MASTER VALUE MR16 is a new series of low-voltage halogen MR16 replacements (12 VAC). It features Philips' patented solution for interchangeability with a wide selection of transformers (12 V) and delivers high beam intensity comparable to traditional 50W Philips MR16 halogen lamps. The MASTER Value LED MR16 ensures 100% backward compatibility with a perfect MR16 connection, similar to MR16 halogen lamps. This LEDspot provides a warm light, resembling halogen or incandescent lamps, making it ideal for accent and general lighting in the hospitality sector. It is particularly suitable for public areas such as reception areas, lobbies, corridors, staircases, and restrooms where lighting is always on. The robustly designed MASTER LEDspot offers various beam angles for clearly defined beam spread. The beam contains no UV or IR light, making it suitable for illuminating heat-sensitive objects like food, organic materials, and paintings. Innovative active cooling technology ensures maximum lamp performance.
Warnings and Safety
- Suitable for ambient temperatures from -20°C to 45°C.
- To be used in dry or damp locations and in most open luminaires where lampholders have sufficient free space. Minimum 10 mm clearance required.
- Not to be used in emergency lighting or escape route luminaires.

Photometric Data
Spectral Power Distribution Colour
A graph showing the spectral power distribution of the light, with intensity on the y-axis (0-100%) and wavelength (nm) on the x-axis (200-800 nm). The spectrum shows peaks in the blue, green, yellow, and red regions, characteristic of white LED light.
Light Distribution Diagram
A polar diagram illustrating the light distribution. The diagram shows a narrow beam angle, with the highest intensity directly in front of the lamp (0 degrees) and decreasing intensity at wider angles.
Accent Lighting Spots
Indicates suitability for accent lighting applications.
Lifetime
Life Expectancy Diagram
A graph showing the failure rate (%) on the y-axis against time (hours) on the x-axis. The graph indicates that the failure rate remains low for a significant period, reaching approximately 50% failure rate around 50,000 hours.
Lumen Maintenance Diagram
A graph showing lumen output (%) on the y-axis against burning hours on the x-axis. The graph shows that lumen output is maintained at a high level (around 90%) for the first 20,000-30,000 hours, gradually decreasing thereafter, reaching approximately 70% at 50,000 hours.
