Philips MASTER VALUE LEDspot LV
MAS LEDspotLV DimTone 7.5-50W MR16 36D
Product Overview
The Philips MASTER VALUE MR16 is a new series of low-voltage halogen MR16 replacements (12 VAC). It features Philips' patented solution for interchangeability with a wide selection of transformers (12 V) and delivers high beam intensity comparable to traditional 50W Philips MR16 halogen lamps. The MASTER LEDspot MR16 offers 100% compatibility at the rear of the lamp with a perfect MR16 connection, mimicking MR16 halogen lamps. It provides a warm, halogen or incandescent-like light, making it ideal for accent and general lighting in hospitality and public areas like receptions, lobbies, corridors, staircases, and restrooms where light is always on. The robustly designed MASTER LEDspot offers various beam angles for well-defined beam spread. The beam contains no UV or IR light, making it suitable for illuminating heat-sensitive objects such as food, organic materials, and paintings. Innovative active cooling technology ensures maximum lamp performance.
Warnings and Safety
- Suitable for ambient temperatures from -20°C to 45°C.
- For use in dry or damp locations and in most open luminaires where lampholders have sufficient free space. Minimum 10 mm clearance required.
- Not to be used in emergency lighting or escape route fixtures.

Light Distribution Diagram
The diagram shows the luminous intensity distribution for the MAS LEDspotLV DimTone 7.5-50W MR16 36D. It illustrates how the light is distributed in different directions, with the highest intensity typically directly in front of the lamp.
Diagram Description: A polar diagram showing light intensity in candelas (cd) at various angles. The distribution is concentrated forward, indicating a focused beam.
Spectral Power Distribution Colour
This graph displays the spectral power distribution of the MAS LEDspotLV DimTone 7.5-50W MR16 36D, showing the intensity of light emitted at different wavelengths (nm). This helps to understand the color rendering properties of the LED.
Diagram Description: A graph with wavelength (nm) on the x-axis and intensity (%) on the y-axis. It shows a broad spectrum with peaks characteristic of warm white LED light, including a significant peak in the red spectrum.
Accent Lighting Spots
This section likely refers to the suitability of the product for accent lighting applications, highlighting its beam characteristics.
Lifetime
Life Expectancy Diagram
This diagram illustrates the expected lifespan of the LED lamp based on usage hours. It shows the probability of failure over time.
Diagram Description: A graph with time (hours) on the x-axis and failure rate (%) on the y-axis. The curve starts at 0% failure and gradually increases, indicating the cumulative probability of failure over the lamp's operational life.
Lumen Maintenance Diagram
This diagram shows how the luminous flux (lumen output) of the lamp degrades over its lifetime. It indicates the percentage of initial lumen output remaining after a certain number of burning hours.
Diagram Description: A graph with burning hours on the x-axis and Lumen in % on the y-axis. The curve starts at 100% and gradually decreases, showing lumen depreciation over time.
