This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up and using Moes Smart Switch Modules.

Checklist Before Using
Wi-Fi Requirements:
- Your smartphone or tablet has connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi with internet.
- You have the correct Wi-Fi password.
- Your smartphone or tablet must have access to the App Store or Google Play.
- Your router is MAC-open.
Bluetooth Requirements:
- Enable your smartphone Bluetooth.
- A Bluetooth hub may be required for connection when wireless remote control is needed.
Smart Life App Setup
1. Download Smart Life APP: Please scan the QR code [QR Code] or download "Smart Life" from the App Store [App Store] or Google Play [Google Play].
2. Account Setup: Register a new "Smart Life" account or log in if you already have one.
3. Power Up: Connect the device to power. The ON/OFF operating principle is that the connected appliances work/stop through live wire power on/off.

Important Note: The WiFi Switch must be powered up by N and L wires.

Device Pairing and Reset
Wi-Fi Linking Method 1 (Traditional Pairing)
- After wiring is done, press the [Reset Button] for about 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi blue LED blinks rapidly.
- Open the Smart Life App, select "+" on the top right, and choose "Switch (Wi-Fi)" to add the device.
- Confirm the indicator light is blinking rapidly (twice a second). Ensure your smartphone and the Wi-Fi + RF switch module are under the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- The connecting process will take about 10-120 seconds. The device will be shown on the App once pairing is complete.
Wi-Fi Linking Method 2 (Only for MS-101-N/MS-101-16A)
- Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Open the Smart Life/Tuya App and click "+". The prompt page will automatically show on the screen; click "Go to add".
- Select the device you want to add and click "+".
- Enter the Wi-Fi Password and click "Next", waiting for the connection to complete.
- Once added successfully, you can edit the device name and enter the device page by clicking "Done".
Reset Method
Press and hold the [Reset Button] for about 7 seconds until the Wi-Fi blue LED blinks fast.
Remote Radio Frequency (RF) Link Method (Only for MS-101R/MS-101WR)
- Press the [Pairing Button] for 5 times until your electric devices flash about 2 times.
- Turn on the wall panel transmitter to successfully pair.
- After pairing, you can control the switch remotely. Repeat the procedure to pair another wall panel transmitter (maximum of six transmitters supported).
Troubleshooting
Q: How to set indicator light as rapid flashing?
- Power on the device.
- Hold the [Reset Button] for 5 seconds.
- Confirm the indicator light is now rapidly flashing.
Q: How to set indicator light as slow flashing?
- Power on the device.
- Hold the [Reset Button] for 5 seconds. Confirm indicator light is now rapidly flashing.
- Hold the [Reset Button] for 8 seconds until the indicator light is slowly flashing.
Device Offline Issues:
The newly added device needs about 1 minute to connect to Wi-Fi and the Internet. If it stays offline for a long time, please check the Wi-Fi LED status.
Wi-Fi LED quickly blinks one time every second:
- Wi-Fi Switch failed to connect to your Wi-Fi.
- Possible reasons:
- You may have entered the wrong Wi-Fi password.
- The Wi-Fi Switch is too far from your Wi-Fi router; please move it closer.
- Ensure your router is MAC-open.
- If still failed, try opening a mobile hotspot and adding the device again.
Voice Control Integration
Set your Echo speaker by Alexa APP (Only for MS-101/MS-101WR)
Preparation:
- Ensure your Amazon Echo device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi network.
- Open the Alexa App on your phone.
- Configure the Amazon Echo device: Tap the menu (top left) -> "Settings" -> "Set up a new device" (choose Echo). Follow on-screen prompts, including holding the device's small dot until it turns yellow, connecting to the hotspot, and selecting your Wi-Fi network.
- Note: The mobile phone should not run VPN software during setup.
Enable Smart Life Skill in Alexa APP
- Complete product networking configuration in the Smart Life App. Note: Rename the device in the App to an easily identifiable name (e.g., "bed light").
- In the Alexa App, tap "Skills" in the menu. Search for "Smart Life", then tap "Enable".
- Enter your Smart Life account and password, then tap "Link Now" to enable the Skill.
Control the Light Switch by Voice (Alexa)
- Discover Devices: Say, "Echo (or Alexa), discover my devices." Echo will search for devices added in the Smart Life APP (approx. 20 seconds). You can also click "Discover devices" in the Alexa APP.
- Voice Commands: You can now control the Light Switch via Echo. Examples: "Alexa (or Echo), turn on the Light Switch" or "Alexa (or Echo), turn off the Light Switch".
- Note: The device name must be consistent with the name in the Smart Life APP. You can group switches for simultaneous control.
- Wake-up Names: Echo supports "Alexa", "Echo", or "Amazon" as wake-up words.
Google Assistant - Activate Smart Life in Google Home App
Preparation:
- Have downloaded the Google Home App (compatible with Android 4.2+ or iOS 8.0+).
- Have registered your Google Account.
- Have paired the Light Switch with the Smart Life App and named it recognizably.
- Have finished setting up Google Home.
Linking Smart Life to Google Home:
- Open the Google Home App. Tap the "+" icon (upper left corner) and select "More Settings".
- Choose "Services" from the options bar and select "Smart Life".
- Tap "Link Account", then sign in with your Smart Life Account.
- Tap "Link Now". Once your Smart Life account is linked, your smart devices will automatically appear.
Command the Device through Your Voice (Google Assistant)
- To start, say "OK Google, talk to Smart Life".
- Then, issue commands like: "Turn on the Light Switch" or "Turn off the Light Switch".
- Note: After Smart Life is activated, you can say "Cancel" or "Stop" to exit, or say "Nothing" when prompted "What can I do for you." Then you can say "OK Google, talk to Smart Life" again to resume voice control.
