How to Power and Connect the Camera

This wired smart Wi-Fi camera uses an integrated dual connector with two ports:

How to Insert the microSD Card

The camera has a microSD card slot (up to 128GB) located at the bottom. Inserting a card allows automatic recording.

Gently lift the rubber cover of the bottom compartment.
Insert the microSD card in the correct direction.
Replace the cover by pushing it down until it closes tightly.

Note: Failure to properly close the compartment can lead to water damage.

Installing the Nexxt Home App

Download the Nexxt Home app from Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Account Creation Steps:

Register by email: Fill in the required fields and get an authentication code.
Enter verification code: Input the code sent to your email.
Set Password: Create a new password (6-20 characters, letters and numbers) and select 'Completed'.
Confirmation: Your Nexxt Home account is created successfully.

Adding a Device to Your Nexxt Home Account

Select "Add device" or the ➕ icon, then choose the smart camera.
On the camera page, click "Next".
Connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter your network password.
Scan the QR code from your mobile device with the smart camera. Once you hear a prompt tone, click "I heard a prompt". If issues occur, reset the camera.
Pairing Successful: A "Device added successfully" notification will appear. Click the ✏️ icon to rename the camera and select "Save".

Note: If a camera is already registered, another user cannot set it up without permission via the "Share access" option.

Camera Features and Settings

The Nexxt Home app provides various controls:

Live View Controls

Full screen: Switches to full screen view of the camera live feed.
Screenshot: Takes a still image from the camera feed.
Speak: Enables two-way voice communication through the camera.
Record: Starts video recording.
Playback: Watch recordings if a microSD card is installed.
Gallery: Lists all recorded videos and photos (local or cloud).
Theme color: Switch between light and dark modes.
HDR: High Dynamic Range technology improves scene quality by enhancing brightness and contrast.
Night vision mode: Automatically turns on infrared light for low-light conditions.

Device Settings

Device name: Allows renaming the device.
Device information: Displays camera details.
Tap-To-Run and Automation: Links the camera with other smart products for automated control.
Flip screen: Flips the image 180 degrees if the camera is mounted upside down.
High dynamic range: Enhances image quality with wider color range, brighter whites, and deeper blacks.
Talk mode: Allows one-way or two-way audio communication.
IR Night Vision: Select night vision configuration (Smart, Infrared, Light modes).
Motion detection settings: Turn motion detection on/off, adjust sensitivity (low, medium, high), and activate human body detection filter.
Device volume: Controls the camera speaker volume for two-way audio.
Siren: Activates or deactivates the alarm.
Light: Turns the integrated light on and off.
Edit: Set up shortcuts to control other compatible smart devices.
Messages: View push notifications sent to the mobile device.
Cloud storage: Option to purchase cloud storage services.
Features: Opens a menu with additional camera functions.
ONVIF: Activate to allow the camera to work with devices from multiple manufacturers.

Memory Card and Recording Settings

Memory Card Settings

If using a memory card, these options are available:

Total capacity: Shows the microSD card capacity.
Used: Shows used memory space.
Remaining capacity: Shows available space.
Format: Formats the microSD card for use with the camera.

Recording Settings

If using a memory card:

Local recording: Set the camera to record 24/7 (duration depends on card size).
Mute recording: Turn the camera microphone on or off during recording.
Recording mode: Switch between Event recording and Continuous recording.
Schedule: Program recording start/stop times.

Cloud Storage and Notifications

Cloud Storage

Purchase cloud storage services to access and share photos and videos anytime, anywhere.

Offline Notification

Enable this feature to receive a notification 30 minutes after the device goes offline (due to power outage or other reasons).

Feedback

Use this feature to report any setup issues.

Device Sharing and Updates

Share Device

Grant access to friends or family: Click "Share device", tap "Add sharing", enter the friend's email address, and tap "Done". Shared users need their own Nexxt Home account.

To remove a user: On iOS, slide left; on Android, long-press and select "Delete". Confirm the removal.

Other Options

Add home screen: Creates a shortcut to the device on your phone's main screen.
Device update: View a record of firmware updates.
Remove device: Unpairs the device from your Nexxt Home account.
