X-Core and ACC controllers have the Solar Sync software built in and do not require the module. Pro-C, PCC, ICC, and I-Core controllers require use of the Solar Sync module.

SOLAR SYNC Sensor

Connects to the outside of a home or building.

Passing showers require a sensor that can react quickly. The built-in "Quick Response™" feature does just that.
For soaking showers, the adjustable Rain-Clik™ sensor ensures your lawn isn't watered unnecessarily.
The solar sensor measures the sun's rays ☀️ to keep your lawn at peak performance with optimal watering.

Air temperature ?️ is monitored and used to calculate watering requirements. Too hot? Solar Sync knows to be efficient and waters your lawn as needed. Freezing morning? Keep those mittens off, because below 37° F, Solar Sync smartly waits for warmer temperatures.

Wireless SOLAR SYNC

Wireless receiver can be wall-mounted, or on the side of the controller using an available knockout (not available on some controllers).

Wireless sensor eases installation and has a range of 800 feet (maximum) ?.

SOLAR SYNC Module

Installs easily to Hunter controllers (look for the "Compatible with Solar Sync" indicator).

Solar Sync uses the controller's Seasonal Adjustment feature to adjust program runtimes.

The Solar Sync continually gathers on-site solar and temperature data used in the calculation of evapotranspiration (ET), then determines watering requirements. The module automatically calculates water requirements and makes adjustments taking into account your regional weather characteristics.
