Installation

Removing the packaging reinforcements

To remove packaging reinforcement, lean the machine backward and pull the reinforcement by the braid.

Diagram: Shows leaning the machine back and pulling a strap to remove packaging.

Removing the transportation safety bolts

Transportation safety bolts must be removed before operation.

  1. Loosen the bolts anticlockwise with a suitable wrench.
  2. Pull off the transportation safety bolts.
  3. Insert the provided plastic caps into the holes where the bolts were removed.

Keep the safety bolts for future transportation. Transport the machine with the bolts installed.

Diagram: Illustrates loosening a bolt with a wrench, removing it, and inserting a plastic cap into the hole.

Adjusting the feet

Your machine must be level and balanced for quiet and vibration-free operation. Loosen the plastic counter nut on the adjustable feet, adjust the feet to level the machine, and then tighten the counter nut upwards.

Diagram: Shows an adjustable foot of the washing machine with a nut being turned to level the appliance.

Water and Electrical Connections

Water Connections

Water Inlet Hose

Connect the provided hoses to the water inlet valves. The red hose is for hot water, and the blue hose is for cold water.

If using a double water inlet machine as a single (cold) water inlet unit, install the stopper to the hot water valve. If using both inlets, remove the stopper and gasket from the hot water valve before connecting the hot water hose.

Ensure connection points are under water pressure. Turn taps on fully after connecting and check for leaks. Keep taps closed when not in use to prevent leaks.

Water flow should be between 1 and 10 bars (approximately 8 liters per minute from a fully open tap).

Install the elbowed end of the hose to the machine and hand-tighten the nuts; do not use a spanner.

Models with double water inlets can be used with a single inlet by using a plug on the hot water valve. A rubber gasket is recommended to prevent leaks.

Do not connect a single water inlet product to the hot water tap. Connecting hot water to a double inlet machine via a Y-part may cause it to switch to protection mode if the temperature exceeds 40°C.

Diagram: Shows water inlet hoses (red/blue) and drainage hose connection, including a height guide (40-100 cm) and a plug for single inlet use.

Water Drainage Hose

The drainage hose can be attached to a sink or bathtub side. Ensure the hose is not bent. Secure it with a hose bracket if necessary.

The hose end can connect directly to a waste water drainage hole or an outlet elbow on the sink. The hose should be installed at a height of 40 cm minimum and 100 cm maximum.

Electrical Connection

Plug the grounded plug of the washing machine's power cable into a grounded wall outlet with suitable voltage and current.

Preparation

Before starting to wash laundry, ensure the following:

If installing the machine yourself, refer to the "Installation" section.

Separation of Laundries

Separate laundries by type (cotton, linen, synthetic, woolen, etc.), dirtiness level, and washing temperature. Do not wash white clothes with colored ones.

Remove solid objects like belts, cuff links, and curtain rods, or place them in a washing bag. Empty pockets, zip up, and button clothes.

For very small items (e.g., baby clothes), place them inside pillowcases or a special washing net to prevent them from getting caught in the bellows, pump filter, or hoses.

For stained laundries, consult the "Practical and useful information" section.

The machine can wash "Machine Washable" or "Unfeltable" woolen clothes in the special woolen program. Sensitive items labeled "Do not wash in machine" or "Hand-wash" (e.g., silk, pure wool, cashmere) can be washed using the specifically designed hand-wash program.

Loading the Laundry

Open the front door by pulling the handle. The door can only be opened when the machine is not operating and the "ready" LED is on.

Load laundry by spreading it evenly without compaction. Turn hand-woven clothes inside out.

Ensure no laundry is caught between the door and the rubber bellows when closing the door. Push the door firmly to close it. Washing will not start if the door is not closed correctly.

Detergent and Softener Selection

Detergent amount depends on water hardness, laundry amount, and dirtiness level. Refer to detergent packaging for recommended amounts. Use less detergent for lightly soiled laundry or soft water to avoid excessive foam.

Use detergents specifically designed for automatic washing machines. Avoid bleaches containing chlorine or sulfur.

Place powder detergent and softener in the appropriate compartments of the detergent drawer and close it.

Add softener as recommended (e.g., 1 tea cup, generally <100ml). Do not exceed the "MAX" marking, as excess softener may mix with the wash water via the siphon and be wasted. Refill or dilute condensed softener if necessary.

Diagram: Shows the detergent drawer with compartments labeled I (prewash detergent), II (main wash detergent), and III (siphon/softener compartment).

Program Selection and Operating Your Machine

Control Panel

The control panel features several components for operating the machine:

Turning On/Off

Press the "On/Off" button to prepare the machine for program selection. The "Door" LED will illuminate, indicating the door can be opened. Press "On/Off" again to turn the machine off. Pressing "On/Off" does not start the wash program.

Starting the Program

After selecting a program and any desired functions, press the "Start/Pause/Cancel" button to begin the wash cycle.

Diagram: Shows a hand pressing the Start/Pause/Cancel button.

Program Selection Table

Choose the appropriate program based on laundry type, amount, dirtiness, and desired washing temperature by turning the program selection knob.

Function Selection

Selectable auxiliary functions can be chosen by pressing their respective buttons. The indicator light for the selected function will illuminate. Some functions cannot be selected simultaneously; selecting one may turn off another.

Auxiliary Functions

Child Lock

The child lock prevents accidental program changes. To enable, press and hold the first and second auxiliary function buttons (from the left) simultaneously for 3 seconds. The first auxiliary function light will flash continuously. To disable, press the same buttons again for 3 seconds after the program finishes, allowing new program selection.

Diagram: Shows the auxiliary function buttons and indicates which ones to press for Child Lock.

Program Flow

After starting, the program follow-up indicator lights up according to the selected program. Lights turn off for completed steps and on for the current step.

When the "On/Off" button is pressed, the "Door" light comes on. After program selection, pressing "Start/Pause/Cancel" illuminates the "Washing" light.

The "End" light illuminates when the program finishes. The door remains locked for a short period for safety. If you try to open it, the "Door" light will flash. Once the lock is deactivated, both "Door" and "End" lights illuminate, and the door can be opened.

You can pause the machine by pressing "Start/Pause/Cancel" during operation. The "Start/Pause/Cancel" light will flash. While paused, you can change program settings or use the laundry addition function if the pause occurs at a suitable stage.

To resume, press "Start/Pause/Cancel" again. The "Start/Pause/Cancel" light will flash, and the machine will continue the program.

Program Management

Changing the Program

Selecting a new program via the knob while the machine is running does not change the current program. To change the program, first cancel the ongoing one by pressing and holding "Start/Pause/Cancel" for 3 seconds.

Auxiliary functions can be changed during operation by pressing "Start/Pause/Cancel". Spin speed can also be changed by pressing "Start/Pause/Cancel", selecting the new speed, and pressing it again.

Laundry Addition Function

To add laundry after the program has started, pause the machine using "Start/Pause/Cancel". If the water level is suitable, the "Door" light will come on after about 2 minutes, allowing you to open the door and add laundry. If the "Door" light does not illuminate, the water level is too high, and laundry cannot be added. Resume the program by pressing "Start/Pause/Cancel" again.

Cancelling a Program

To cancel a program, press and hold the "Start/Pause/Cancel" button for 3 seconds. The machine will begin draining. The "Washing" and "End" lights will be on during draining. After draining, "Start/Pause/Cancel" and "Washing" lights turn off, and the "Door" light flashes. Once the "Door" light is continuously on, the door can be opened, and a new program can be selected and started.

End of the Program

When the program ends, the "End" light on the program follow-up indicator illuminates. Within two minutes of the door opening, the "End" and "Door" lights will be on, and the machine is ready for the next wash.

If any button is pressed or the selection knob is changed at the end of a program, the "End" light turns off, leaving only the "Door" light on. If the door is still locked, the "Door" light flashes until it's opened. Turn off the machine by pressing the "On/Off" button.

Unloading the Laundries

The machine stops automatically when the program finishes. Turn off the taps. Open the door by pulling the handle. Turn off the machine using the "On/Off" button.

After removing laundry, leave the front door open for ventilation. Check and wipe the inside of the bellows.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Detergent Drawer

Detergent residue can accumulate in the drawer. To clean, pull the drawer out by pressing the siphon's marked point in the softener compartment. Wash the drawer with plenty of water in a sink.

Diagram: Shows how to remove the detergent drawer by pressing a specific point on the siphon.

Siphon

Clean the siphon (colored part in the detergent drawer) when it gets dirty. Remove the drawer, clean the softener remnants from the siphon to prevent clogging, then reinsert it and check it is seated correctly.

Diagram: Illustrates the siphon component within the detergent drawer.

Inlet Water Filters

Filters are located at the water inlet valves (back of the machine) and the flat end of the water inlet hoses. They prevent foreign substances from entering the machine. Clean them when dirty.

To clean: Close taps, remove hoses. Clean valve filters with a thin brush. If very dirty, pull them out with pliers. Clean hose filters and their gaskets by hand under running water.

Machines have 2 filters for single water inlet and 4 for double water inlet.

Diagram: Shows the location of inlet water filters on the machine and hoses.

Hose

In cold areas, water remaining in the appliance can freeze and cause damage. Drain water from the pump and hoses by removing the pump filter. Empty water inlet hoses by removing them from the taps.

Cleaning the pump filter

Clean the foreign substance filter periodically (at least once).

Drain water completely in the following situations:

Steps for cleaning the pump filter:

  1. Turn off the appliance, unplug the power cable, and close the tap. Wait for hot soapy water to cool to avoid scalding.
  2. Open the service cover by pressing the button. Place a container in front of the filter cover to catch any residual water. Unscrew the filter anticlockwise.
  3. Loosen the foreign substance filter by turning it half a turn anticlockwise. Use a cloth to absorb remaining water. Once dry, turn the filter until it is fully released and remove it.
  4. Clean the foreign substance filter and the pump opening.
  5. Reinstall the foreign substance filter and tighten it clockwise.
  6. Close the service cover.

Diagram: Shows three steps for cleaning the pump filter: accessing the cover, unscrewing the filter, and removing the filter with water draining.
