Connecting Instructions

1. Download the Globe Suite™ app

   Download the Globe Suite™ app from the iOS or Android store. Create an account with your email and log in. Ensure your mobile device is running iOS 9.0/watchOS 2.0/Android™ 4.4 or higher.

2. Set your smart bulb in pairing mode

   Once screwed in and powered on, the bulb should flash rapidly. If not, cycle the power switch off/on/off/on.

3. Connect to the Globe Suite™ app

   Tap the '+' icon on the Globe Suite™ app home screen. If the bulb is flashing rapidly, the 'scan' mode will detect it. Select the bulb icon and tap 'Next.' Enter your Wi-Fi credentials. Ensure Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Location Services are enabled on your mobile device.

4. Name your device and choose its room

   You can now control your smart bulb directly through the Globe Suite™ app.

For further assistance, select the “How do I set device into pairing mode” link on the “scan” page or scan the QR code for an instructional video.

Hardware Settings

• Power on behaviour: Determine how the light behaves when reconnected to power.
• Light spectrum: Control color temperature and brightness.
• Colour temperature: Adjustable from 2000 K to 5000 K.
• Tunable white: Offers a range of white light.
• Dimmable: Adjustable brightness level through the app.
• RGB: Supports over 16 million colors.

Basic Control

• Intensity: Adjust brightness.
• Moods: Select preset color combinations.

Routines

• Timer: Set a countdown for the light to turn on or off.
• Wake up: Gradually fade in light to help you wake up.
• Bedtime: Gradually fade out light to help you sleep.
• Vacation: Schedule lights to turn on/off to simulate occupancy.
• Add a new schedule: Set specific times and dates for your bulb to turn on or off.

Additional App Features

• Device offline notification: Receive alerts if your device goes offline.
• Device sharing: Share access with other Globe Suite™ app users.
• Device grouping: Control multiple Globe bulbs simultaneously.
• Add to home screen: Create a widget for quick access.

Voice Assistant Setup

On the home screen, select “Profile,” then “Integration.” Choose your voice assistant and follow the in-app instructions.

Create Siri Shortcuts (for iOS)

On the home screen, select “Smart Scenes,” then the “+” icon to add a Trigger Scene. Once completed, select “Add to Siri” and add your desired phrase.

Limited Warranty

This bulb is warranted for 3 years from the date of purchase, based on 3 hours of daily use. If it fails within this period, Globe Electric will replace it upon submission of the bulb, proof of purchase, and registration details. This warranty is void if the product is misused. Liability for incidental or consequential damages is expressly excluded.

Cautionary Notes

• DO NOT USE WITH STANDARD DIMMER. Use only the control provided or specified in these instructions.
• This lamp will not operate properly with a standard (incandescent) dimmer or dimming control.
• For use only in 120V/60Hz circuits.
• Risk of electrical shock. Do not open; no user-serviceable parts inside.
• Not intended for use with emergency exit fixtures, photocells, or electronic timers.
• Intended for indoor use only. Do not use where directly exposed to water.
• Do not use in totally enclosed/recessed/sealed fixtures.
• Minimum operating temperature: -20 °C (-4 °F).
