The Tranquility® 18 (SC) Compact Single-Stage Series by ClimateMaster offers advanced water-source heat pump technology, exceeding ASHRAE 90.1 efficiency standards. It utilizes R-454B low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant, making it an environmentally conscious choice. Its compact cabinet design allows for easy installation in tight spaces, and it is backward compatible with many existing water-source heat pumps. The series is eligible for LEED® points.

- Sizes 006 (½ ton, 1.8 kW) through 060 (5 tons, 17.6 kW)
- Refrigerant Detection System (RDS): Mandatory on size 060, optional for sizes 006-048
- Communicating CXM2 controls for streamlined startup, commissioning, and service
- Sound-absorbing glass-fiber insulation
- Double-isolation compressor mounting for quiet operation
- Field-convertible discharge-air arrangement for horizontal units
- PSC three-speed fan motor (two-speed for 575V units)

- Choice of high efficiency Constant Volume (CV) or Constant Torque (CT) EC motors
- Intelligent communicating DXM2.5 controls for optimized airflow with CV EC blower motors
- BACnet, Modbus, and Johnson Controls N2 compatibility for Building Management Systems (BMS)
- UltraQuiet sound-attenuation package
- Easy-to-clean, rust-prohibitive stainless-steel drain pans
- Electrical service disconnect
- Extended-range insulation for geothermal applications
