PLEASE READ ALL WARNINGS AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE PET CAM HELLO.

Never disassemble or alter the PetTec Pet Cam Hello. This device does not require special maintenance or revisions. Should your device malfunction, please contact our customer service.
To ensure proper functioning of the device, we recommend using only original parts. When installing the device, use only the materials provided by the manufacturer.
To optimize the lifespan of the camera, please keep the device protected from the elements. Protect the device during any renovation work, even if it only involves painting or wallpapering.

Legal Notice

The PetTec Pet Cam Hello is exclusively designed for indoor use. Specific legislation regarding image recordings outside your home may be in effect in your region. Please familiarize yourself with the laws in force in your geographical area. For privacy protection, install the camera in such a way that it does not capture images of public areas or your neighbors' homes. We also recommend informing your relatives, any visitors to your home, and any employees working in your home about the presence and function of this camera.

Please note that the application will not send you any special alerts in case of emergency or burglary. In the event that an emergency number needs to be dialed, this task will be your responsibility. Stage10 GmbH declines all responsibility for missing or erroneous videos or notifications.

Important Instructions

Status LED

LED stays red – no internet connection possible
LED flashes red – device is ready to connect to Wifi.
LED flashes red rapidly – Wifi connection is in progress.
LED stays blue – Wifi connection is working correctly
LED flashes blue – device is ready for manual Wifi connection.
LED flashes blue rapidly – manual Wifi connection was successful.
LED is off – camera is off / out of order

USB-C Power Cable

The cable powers the device's camera. If necessary, a standard USB-C cable of a different length can be used.

Microphone/Speaker

The combination of an integrated microphone and a speaker allows for two-way communication.

Micro-SD Card Slot

The Micro-SD card slot is located at the top of the treat reservoir, under a lid (see graphic). Micro-SD cards up to 128 GB can be used.

Multi-function Button

Press and hold the Multi-function Button for approximately 4-5 seconds to reset the device to factory settings.

Getting Started

Connect the USB-C cable to the camera via the power port. The free end of the USB cable should be connected to a power adapter.
After about a minute, the camera will beep and the LED will flash red. This indicates that the camera is ready to connect to Wifi.
Download the "PetTec Snoop Cube" application for free from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and install it on your smartphone. Then follow the instructions provided by the application to finalize the camera setup.
For this operation, you will need a Wifi router connected to the internet and its password. Your smartphone must be connected to the same Wifi network as the router to which you want to connect the camera.
This operation requires a stable Wifi connection.

Placement

Place the Pet Cam Hello on a smooth and clean surface. The Pet Cam Hello has 3 suction cups, allowing it to be securely attached. Installation on the floor, for example on tiles, parquet, or laminate, should work well.

Ensure there is sufficient space in front of the Pet Cam Hello. The ejection mechanism projects treats at a distance of approximately 0.5 m to 1 m.

Training

Step 1: Before training

Please test the treats you have chosen before training. They should have a firm consistency and a diameter between 7 and 15 mm. Fill the Pet Cam Hello with a few treats and launch them to test (e.g., using the Multi-function Button). Is everything working well? You can then begin training your dog.

Step 2: Dog training

For optimal success when using the Pet Cam Hello, it is important that your dog reacts positively to the treats. Does your dog have a favorite brand? Give them some treats to eat to get them used to the taste.

Step 3: Using the Pet Cam Hello

Do the treats taste good? Then train with the Pet Cam Hello! Initially, stay with your dog and the device so that they get used to the ejection and are not frightened. Is it working? Go into the next room and activate the ejection via the app. Also, use the pivot function so that your pet gets used to it. If your dog also accepts this feeding variant without your presence, you can also use the Pet Cam Hello on the go.

Important Notes

Radio Signal

Certain external factors (e.g., electric motors or defective electronic devices) could interfere with your device's radio signal. The range of radio waves is generally weaker indoors than in open spaces. Similarly, installation and/or usage conditions affect the range of the waves. Bluetooth devices, such as headphones or portable speakers, can interfere with the device's radio signal. Signal strength can also decrease due to environmental factors, such as humidity.

Environmental Protection

Please note that electrical and electronic devices, as well as their batteries, cannot be disposed of with household waste and must be recycled separately to protect the environment (see European Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Dispose of your used electrical or electronic devices and their batteries at one of the collection points set up for this purpose by your municipality. It is strictly forbidden to dispose of used batteries with household waste.

Where to dispose of packaging?

All packaging must be sorted before being placed in the corresponding recycling bin:

Papers and cardboard in the corresponding recycling bin
Plastic films and recyclable materials in the corresponding recycling bin

Do not dispose of used appliances with household waste!

If your PetTec Pet Cam Hello becomes unusable, the consumer is legally obliged to deposit the device at a collection point provided for this purpose. Inquire with your municipality to find the nearest collection point. This measure ensures the recycling of electronic devices, preventing them from polluting the environment. For this reason, all electronic devices bear the following symbol.
