Plug the kit into power to check that all parts are functioning properly, then unplug the kit from power and disconnect its parts from the camera.
Step 2: Prepare Monitor
Wipe the back panel of the monitor to ensure its surface is dry and clean.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Position Mounting Clips
Select a positioning card based on the size of your monitor. Unfold the card and align it with the back panel to identify the correct attachment positions for the mounting clips. Slowly remove the card's adhesive film and stick it onto the back panel.
Step 2: Attach Mounting Clips
Install the mounting clips as indicated on the positioning card. Press each clip for 10 seconds during installation to ensure they are fully attached.
Step 3: Install Strip Light
Install the strip light onto the mounting clips in a counterclockwise direction. After completing the installation, press lightly on the strip light to ensure it is securely fastened into all the clips.
Step 4: Position Light Bars
Place each light bar approximately 12 inches (30cm) on either side of the monitor. Angle each bar's lighting-emitting surfaces outward towards the wall behind the monitor to achieve maximized lighting effects.
Step 5: Mount Camera and Final Connections
Position the gaming camera at the top-center of the monitor, facing downwards. Insert the strip light, light bars, and DC power adapter cord into the corresponding ports on the camera. Use the provided cable clips to manage and fasten the light bars' and power adapter cords for better organization.
Finally, plug the kit into power and enjoy!
Tips and Cautions
Tips
- For curved monitors, the corner mounting clips may need to be flexed when pressed onto the back panel to ensure their orientations are correct.
- Choose to install the remaining straight mounting clips based on the actual condition of the monitor's back panel.
Cautions
- Ensure the longest part of the Headphone Linking Cable is plugged into the camera. Failure to do so may cause the linking cable to pull on the camera and affect its color tracking.
- As monitors vary in thickness, you can choose to remove the rubber pad on the camera and use the included adhesive to mount the camera directly onto the monitor.
- The connection standards for the headphone linking cable may differ by region.
