Controllers and Sound Settings
This game supports various controllers, including the Wii U GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller, Wii Remote + Nunchuk, and Wii Remote. Up to four players can enjoy the game simultaneously, with each player using a dedicated controller.
Pairing Controllers: Navigate to Controller Settings from the HOME Menu to pair your controllers. Follow the on-screen instructions for a smooth setup.
Surround Sound: Experience immersive 5.1-channel linear PCM surround sound. Configure your audio output in the Wii U Menu's System Settings under the TV item.
For optimal surround sound, connect your Wii U console to a receiver with an HDMI™ port using a High Speed HDMI Cable. Refer to your receiver's manual for specific configuration details.
Online Features
Connect to the Nintendo Network service to access online features. As you progress, you can receive Ghost Mii™ characters and utilize Miiverse™.
Nintendo Network settings can be accessed via the ⓘ menu from the world screen. For detailed internet connection requirements, consult the printed Wii U Operations Manual.
Note to Parents and Guardians
Utilize the Parental Controls feature on the Wii U Menu to manage game access and online interactions. Restrictions can be applied to online gameplay, Miiverse usage, and game ratings.
Gameplay Basics
Starting the Game: Select a 'New' file to begin a new game or load a previously saved game by selecting a file with existing save data.
Save Data: Save files can be copied or deleted via the game menu. Please exercise caution when deleting files, as they cannot be recovered.
Data is automatically saved upon clearing a course and returning to the world screen.
Character Selection
Choose your character to begin playing. Additional controllers will be added in the order they are connected. Each player requires one controller.

Adventure and Action
