Push-to-Talk (PTT) can be activated by pressing and holding the PTT button on the radio or the paired BT PTT button.
When transmitting, the operator's voice is picked up by:
- The car audio system (if paired).
- The microphone in the Bluetooth earpiece (if paired).
- The radio's microphone (when BT + int mic is enabled in the radio menu).
Notice: If the transmitted volume is too low even at maximum settings, adjust the BT Mic Gain in the menu for a louder transmit volume.
When receiving, audio can be handled by:
- The car audio system or Bluetooth earpiece.
- The radio's internal speaker (when BT + int spk is enabled in the radio menu).
Volume can be controlled by the car audio system, Bluetooth earpiece, or the radio's volume knob.
Notice: If the received audio volume is too low even at maximum settings, adjust the BT Spk Gain in the menu for a louder receive volume.
