Secure the Handle C to the top of the Base B with the Handle Screw. FIGURE A. 2. Align your router with the corresponding holes in the StabilMax Base. FIGURE B. 3. Secure your router to the Base using the (4) Pan Head Screws. FIGURE A. Base Top - with lasered logo. If Using a Template Guide Bushing 1. Loosen but do not remove the Pan Head screws that secure the StabilMax Base to your router. 2. Place the template guide bushing in base plate and tighten securely. 3. Insert Centering Pin D into router collet and tighten. 4. Adjust depth of cut until cone of Centering Pin contacts the inside of the template guide bushing. 5. Adjust position of base until cone is contacting template guide bushing uniformly around its circumference. 6. Tighten the (4) Pan Head Screws. 7. Remove Centering Pin. NOTE: Centering Pin requires template guide bushing between 1/4" and 9/16". If your project requires a larger template guide bushing, use one in this range to center, then change before proceeding.
