Getting Started and Basic Operations
To begin using your Fenix 8, you can connect it to your smartphone via Bluetooth and the Garmin Connect app.

Device Interaction:
Power On/Off: Press and hold the top-left button for 3 seconds [power-symbol] to turn the device on or off.
Navigation: Use the side buttons to navigate through menus and options.
- Press the top-right button [up-arrow] to scroll up.
- Press the bottom-right button [down-arrow] to scroll down.
- Press the middle-right button [select-symbol] to select an option or confirm an action.
- Press the bottom-left button [back-symbol] to go back or cancel.
Accessing Menus/Shortcuts: Press and hold the middle-left button for 2 seconds [menu-symbol] to access the main menu or custom shortcuts. A brief press of the middle-left button [back-symbol] returns you to the previous screen.
Time Display: The watch face typically shows the current time, for example, 10:10.
Audio/Voice Features: An icon resembling sound waves [sound-symbol] indicates the availability of audio or voice-related functions.
Double Press Action: A '2x' indicator suggests that a button or screen area can be pressed twice in quick succession to perform an action.
