SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
[WARNING] The "WARNING" symbol indicates that a service or maintenance procedure involves a safety risk and may cause death or serious injury if not performed safely and within the parameters set forth in this manual.
- Always wear eye protection when performing service or maintenance to the vehicle. Other safety equipment to consider includes hearing protection, gloves, and possibly a full face shield, depending on the nature of the service.
- Never allow anyone unfamiliar with this product to install, operate, or service it.
- Never lift or level the trailer without a properly installed footpad.
- Never crank the jack or couple the trailer without preventing the trailer from rolling.
- Never exert excessive side forces on the trailer jack.
- Never allow anyone, including the operator, to place any body parts under the trailer jack or the supported load during jack operation.
- Never exceed the load capacity!
- Never use a trailer jack to lift the trailer for service or tire change.
- Never move the trailer before the trailer jack is fully retracted.
- Keep children and bystanders away from the work area while operating the tool. Do not allow children to handle the jack.
- Do not use the jack where there is a risk of causing a fire or an explosion, e.g., in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. The jack can create sparks, which may ignite flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- For use on a flat, level, hard surface capable of supporting the load.
- Do not use blocks for additional ground clearance.
- When using the drop foot or drop leg, ensure the supplied pin is fully inserted through both sides of the inner tube and the drop tube before using the jack.
- If the trailer jack has a drop leg, never attempt to adjust the drop leg when there is any load on the jack.
Note:
- The jack is designed for vertical movement only in the trailer.
- Rapid and continuous lifting is not recommended to avoid gear heating and reduce service life.

ASSEMBLY
Diagram showing the trailer jack being welded to a trailer frame. A fillet weld is indicated along the base of the jack where it meets the frame.
- When mounting the trailer jack, it is best to hook it up to the towing vehicle to ensure the trailer is secure.
- Mount the jack based on the drawing. All welding must be performed by a certified welder.
- Place the jack in the proper location for trailer application.
- Weld along the entire length of the jack where it meets the trailer frame with a 3/16" fillet weld.
- After the jack is mounted to the trailer, attach the handle assembly to the jack with the provided bolt fastener.
Note: Check to ensure the jack does not interfere with trailer light cables or couplers.
OPERATION
- [WARNING]: Drop leg retracts very quickly.
- Verify that the jack is not supporting any load.
- If the drop leg is extended, the operator should place a foot on the footplate to control the return of the drop leg.
- Disengage the drop leg pin by rotating it to the disengaged position.
- Using foot, carefully move the drop leg to the desired position.
- Engage the drop leg pin by rotating it to the engaged position and into the desired adjustment hole.
- Verify that the drop leg pin is fully inserted into the jack by checking for no clearance between the drop leg pin and the housing. If clearance is observed, the operator must adjust the drop leg to fully seat the pin into the hole location.
- It may be necessary to lubricate the drop leg pin assembly, as described in the maintenance section.
- If you are unable to fully seat the pin, do not use the jack.
MAINTENANCE
- Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water, along with light oil lubrication of pivot points, will prolong peak performance and appearance.
- Periodically check if screws are loose.
- Before each use, inspect jack tubes and replace them if bent or damaged.
- The following procedures should be performed at least annually: The internal gearing and bushings of the jack must be kept lubricated. Apply a small amount of automotive grease to the internal gearing by removing the jack cover. Rotate the jack handle to distribute the grease evenly. If this product is used in a marine environment, flush the jack assembly and bushings with fresh water, and apply fresh lubricant.
