Installation Instructions
Step 1: Desk Mounting
C-Clamp Mounting Option:
Place the C-clamp base (B) onto the edge of your desk. Position the clamp top plate (C) on the desk surface. Insert the clamp screw (P) through the base and into the top plate. Tighten the screw to secure the mount to the desk. Ensure the desk thickness is between 0.39" and 2.16" (10-55mm). The clamp requires at least 0.24" (6mm) of desk edge space and 1.97"-3.34" (50-85mm) clearance on the desk surface.
Grommet Mounting Option:
If your desk has an existing grommet hole (0.39"-2.36" or 10-60mm diameter), use the grommet mount base (G). Insert the grommet mount screw (H) through the desk and into the base. Secure with nuts (N) and washers (L) if applicable. Alternatively, if no hole exists, drill a 0.39"-3.15" (10-80mm) hole and use the grommet mount components. Ensure desk thickness is between 0.39"-3.15" (10-80mm).
Note: Manage USB cables before setting up the clamp or grommet installation.
Step 2: Gas Spring Arm Safety
❗ Safety Caution: Gas spring arm contains tension energy!
- Firmly hold the two halves of the gas spring arm (E) together.
- Have another person cut the cable zip tie securing the arm.
- Slowly allow the gas spring arm to gradually stretch apart until fully extended to release the stored tension energy.
❗ Warning: Do not place hands around or near the joint of the gas spring arm during this process.
Step 3: Attach Arm to Mount Base
Connect the gas spring arm (E) to the mounted desk base (B or G). Use the provided screws (e.g., M, O, Q, R) and washers (L) as indicated in the diagrams to secure the arm to the base. Ensure a tight fit.
Step 4: VESA Monitor Mounting
Attach the VESA mounting plates (D) to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws (M-A, M-B, M-C) and washers (M-C). Ensure the monitor is oriented correctly (TOP indicator). The mount supports VESA patterns: 75x75mm, 100x100mm, 200x100mm, and 200x200mm.
4a. VESA mounting for 75x75/100x100 monitor: Use screws M-A or M-B with washers M-C. Ensure screws are not too long or too short for your monitor's VESA holes.
4b. VESA mounting for 200x100 monitor: Use screws M-A or M-B with washers M-C. Ensure screws are not too long or too short.
4c. VESA mounting for 200x200 monitor: Use screws M-A or M-B with washers M-C. Ensure screws are not too long or too short.
Once the VESA plates are attached to the monitor, carefully lift the monitor and attach it to the gas spring arm (E). Secure it using screws (K) and washers (L) as shown.
Step 5: Lock and Unlock Mechanism
The arm features a lock/unlock mechanism. Slide the lever to lock the arm in place or unlock it for adjustment. Ensure the monitor is securely attached before unlocking.
Step 6: Adjust Monitor Balance
To properly balance the arm with monitors, adjust the spring tension. First, position and firmly hold the arm horizontally. If the arm is heavy, turn the adjustment screw (located on the arm) clockwise until it stays in a horizontal position. If the arm is light, turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise. Do not overtighten the screws.
Step 7: Store Allen Keys
Store the Allen Keys (if provided) in the tool holder for future use.
Step 8: RGB Lighting and Functionality
Button Function:
- On/Off: Press and hold for 2 seconds.
- Mode: Short press to switch to the next light mode (20 modes in total).
- Memory: The system automatically stores the best used setting.
Note: If the display does not stop when the arm is tilted, adjust the screws as shown.
Note: If the display tilt and swivel does not function correctly, adjust the screws as shown.
