Welcome to PhotoSpring
PhotoSpring is designed to help you enjoy your photos and videos. It defaults to a slideshow view, allowing you to easily rediscover your memories.
The PhotoSpring 10 offers a user-friendly interface for managing and displaying your digital memories.
Navigating Your PhotoSpring
Photo Info Screen
Access this screen from the slideshow. Here you can:
- Go to the Playlist screen.
- Resume the Slideshow.
- Access the Menu dropdown.
- Swipe left/right to change photos.
- Email photos.
- Pause the Slideshow.
- Edit photo information.
- Apply actions to the current photo.
- Set the clock and WiFi.
Displays location and date information.
Playlist Screen
Manage your photo collections. From here, you can:
- Go to the Albums screen.
- Select an album to set as the current Playlist.
- Access the Menu dropdown.
- Scroll through photos.
- Swipe left/right within photo rows.
- Manage album options.
- Add new albums.
Shows the current playlist, total items, and options to start slideshow or apply filters.
Albums Screen
View and manage your albums, such as "Summer 2018" or "Dad's B-day". You can:
- Go to the Select Items screen.
Albums are listed with their respective item counts.
Select Items Screen
Choose multiple photos or videos for actions. Options include:
- Select multiple items or use [Select All].
- Apply actions to selected items.
- Email photos.
- Add photos to Favorites.
- Add photos to an Album (or create a new one).
- Hide or Delete photos.
Download Indicator
Monitors automatic photo and video downloads. Tap to adjust display style.
PhotoSpring 10 Features and Setup
Hardware Overview
The PhotoSpring 10 frame includes:
- Frame tabs (x4)
- Button Cluster
- SD Card slot
- USB Port
- Peg Receptacle
- DC Jack
- Speakers (x2)
- Battery Cover
Controls include Volume Up/Down ([Vol +], [Vol -]), Reset button, and Brightness Up/Down ([Brightness +], [Brightness -]).
Power Indicator LED
The Power Indicator LED indicates device status:
- Device OFF: Dark (No power)
- Charging: Flashing Red (Charging), Solid Red (Battery full)
- Device On: Solid Green (No power), Flashing Green/Orange (Charging), Solid Orange (Battery full)
Frame Display Options
Choose your preferred look:
- Traditional Look: Use the Peg Attachment.
- Modern Look: Unscrew frame tabs and place in the Stand.
Initial Setup
- Connect the magnetic DC Jack; the device powers on automatically.
- Tap WELCOME and connect to your WiFi network.
- Follow the on-screen setup instructions.
- Create a Frame Email or skip this step.
- Sign up or log in via the Smartphone App or Web Browser at my.photospring.com.
- Enter the Frame Code shown on your device.
Sending Photos and Videos
- Frame Email: Send photos/videos via email without an account.
- Smartphone / Tablet App: Use the app for direct uploads from your mobile device.
- Web Browser: Upload photos/videos from your computer via my.photospring.com.

Power and Battery Management
- The device powers on automatically when connected to power.
- Short press the power button to toggle sleep/wake.
- Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to access the POWER OFF option.
- A Schedule Timer can be enabled in the SETTINGS menu.
- Battery life is 3-6 hours, varying with screen brightness.
- A full charge from empty takes approximately 5 hours.

This equipment complies with FCC Rules Part 15 for Class B digital devices, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. It may generate radio frequency energy and, if not used per instructions, could cause radio communication interference. If interference occurs with radio or television reception, try the following:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase separation between equipment and receiver.
- Connect to a different electrical circuit.
- Consult a dealer or qualified technician.
