Software Installation and Setup
-
Unzip the Battery Monitor file
Locate the
BatteryMonitor V2.1.9.zip
file. -
Run the application
Open the unzipped folder, find the
BatteryMonitor.exe
application file, and double-click to run the software. The folder structure typically includes directories for languages, logs, and real-time records.
-
Import Protocol
Click 'import protocol'. Navigate to and select the 'Agreement' file. Choose the corresponding agreement file (ending in 'EN' for the English version). Click 'open', then click 'confirm'.
The software interface will display various parameters and settings, including cell voltage, battery voltage, current, SOC, and temperature information.
-
Connect to Device
Select the correct port number (usually identified automatically for USB to RS485 adapters). Set the baud rate to 19200. Click 'Connect'.
Upon successful connection, battery information will be displayed.
-

Parameter Management
Upload Parameter: Click 'upload parameter' to upload settings to the software. This is necessary when running the software for the first time.
Load Parameter: Click 'load parameter' to load settings from the software. After uploading, it is recommended to load parameters.
Modify Parameter: Click 'upload parameter' again to modify existing parameters or turn functions on/off. Click 'Set all' to save the modifications.
-
Load Parameter (Confirmation)
Click 'load parameter' and then 'open' to load a parameter file. Ensure the selected file is a valid parameter file (.xml).
Communication Protocol Configuration
The software supports various communication protocols compatible with different inverters:
Protocol Type | Compatible Inverter |
---|---|
PN-GDLT | Pylontech/Goodwe/TBB/Luxpower/DEYE |
GRWT | Growatt SPF/SPH |
VCTR | Victron |
SMA-SF | SMA/SOFAR |
GINL | Solis |
Studer | Studer |
To configure the communication protocol:
- Click the pull-down menu for 'CAN'.
- Choose the corresponding protocol based on your inverter manufacturer.
- Click 'Close' to refresh the software. The correct inverter manufacturer information should then be displayed.
