Cautions

WARNING:

  • Always insert the plug into a power socket with the rated voltage (220-240V).
  • Always unplug the appliance and turn off water taps when the power is cut, moving, cleaning, or when not in use. Do not insert or pull off the plug with wet hands.
  • Do not make the power cord bent, stretched, twisted, strapped, pressed, or nipped. If the power cord or plug is damaged or the socket is loose, it must be repaired or replaced by an authorized service center to avoid danger. Keep the plug pins clean.
  • Do not install the washing machine in damp places like bathrooms. Do not wash the machine with water, and do not place wet clothes on the control panel film.
  • Do not use water hotter than 50°C.
  • If the machine is on a carpeted floor, adjust the feet to allow air circulation.
  • Do not share the same socket with other electric appliances. Do not use a damaged plug or loose socket.

General Cautions:

  • Do not put hands into the working machine; it is dangerous even at slow speeds. Take special care of children and prevent them from climbing on the machine.
  • It is dangerous to alter specifications or attempt to modify the product.
  • Do not overload the appliance or place hot goods (like a kettle with hot water) on it.
  • Garments that have been in contact with volatile petroleum products should not be machine washed.
  • Before washing, ensure the tap is open and the inlet hose is installed properly.
  • Keep the appliance away from direct sunlight and heat sources like heaters.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • To prevent lint from blocking the cascade outlet during washing, please keep the lint filter in good condition, install it to the proper position, and clean it in time.
  • Notice: Any objects such as coins, safety pins, nails, screws, stones or any other hard, sharp material can cause extensive damage and must not be placed into the machine. It is suggested to use low foam washing powder.

Installation and Adjustment

Correct installation and adjustment are crucial for safety and operation.

Unpacking:

  • Unpack the carton and remove the bottom cover.
  • Open the top lid and take out all accessories.
  • Remove all wrappers, including polystyrene base. Keep packaging for potential future transport.

Installing the Bottom Cover:

To prevent damage from pests, install the bottom cover as follows:

  1. Slightly lean the washing machine forward.
  2. Insert the bottom cover into the slot at the base.
  3. Secure the bottom cover using the provided screws.

Positioning:

Ensure the machine is placed on a level surface. The distance from the wall should be at least 50mm. The maximum allowable angle of the base is 1°. Slanting or rough ground may cause instability.

  • Make it horizontal: Use a plumb line to check if the machine is level.
  • Adjust the adjustable foot: Lift the foot, loosen the nut, twist the foot to adjust height, then tighten the nut.

How to Use Drainpipe

Install Drainpipe:

Attach the drainpipe clip to the drainpipe end (2-3cm from the end). Insert the drainpipe into the drainpipe connector and secure it with the clip. Ensure the clip fastens the grip.

How to Change the Direction of the Drainpipe:

  1. Remove the drainpipe and clip.
  2. Lay the machine on its front on a soft mat.
  3. Unscrew the back cover and drainpipe connector. Loosen the drainpipe connector.
  4. Take off the drainpipe gate stopper on the left side.
  5. Pull the inner drainpipe to the other side, avoiding distortion.
  6. Fix the inner drainpipe with the drainpipe hoop.
  7. Reinstall the drainpipe connector, gate stopper, back cover, and drainpipe.

Water Drainage:

  • The drainpipe should drain smoothly. Its height should be less than 10cm to prevent slow drainage or machine stoppage.
  • Do not step on or press the drainpipe.
  • If the drainpipe is too long, cut the front end slantingly for better drainage.
  • If additional drainpipe is needed, use one with a diameter of at least 30mm and a length not exceeding 1.5m.

Water Inlet Installation

Tap Selection:

Use a suitable tap where the front end is longer than 10mm and the exit end face is flat and smooth. If not, file it to avoid leakage.

Connect the Inlet Hose Connector to the Tap:

  1. Press the slider and remove the inlet hose connector from the inlet hose.
  2. Loosen the four bolts on the connector. Set the connector onto the tap. If the tap caliber is too large, remove the bushing and ensure the tap exit is flat.
  3. Fasten the four bolts evenly.
  4. Twist the fastening nut; ensure the threading is visible (approx. 4mm before twisting, less than 2mm after twisting).

Caution: Use the new hose assembly. Old hose assemblies cannot be reused.

Connect the Inlet Hose Connector to the Inlet Hose:

  1. Push the slider down and insert the inlet hose into the connector.
  2. Insert firmly until a click is heard.

Note: If using the machine more than once a week, it's not necessary to remove the inlet hose connector to avoid damaging the screw.

Check the Connection Between Inlet Hose Connector and the Tap:

  • Gently swing the hose to confirm it's fastened.
  • Open the tap and check for leaks.
  • Do not bend the inlet hose excessively.
  • Before each use, check the connection and installation for proper fit.

Dismantle the Inlet Hose:

  1. Close the tap.
  2. If using the machine frequently, no need to remove the connector.

Operation

Preparation Before Operation

  1. Connect the inlet hose and open the tap.
  2. Ensure the appliance is earthed. Confirm the socket is earthed and insert the power plug. The earth terminal should not link to gas pipelines or tap pipelines.
  3. Put down the drainpipe.

Warning: Water temperature should be less than 50°C.

Before Washing Laundries:

  • Check requirements: Ensure laundries are washable.
  • Empty pockets: Remove small objects like coins, keys, screws.
  • Prepare items: Knot long bands, fasten buttons, and close zippers.
  • Sort laundry: Sort by fabric type, color-fastness, and dirt level. Use a washing bag for thin, woolens, or delicate items.
  • Do not overload: Load laundry loosely, alternating large and small items.
  • Wash new colored items separately: White items should not be washed with colored items.
  • Pre-treat stains: Stains like fruit, wine, grass, rust may need specific products or soaking.
  • Turn nap fabric inside out: For items with nap or long floss.
  • Avoid chemical pollution: Do not put laundries polluted by chemicals directly into the machine.
  • Use washing bag: For very small items like handkerchiefs, socks.

Load Laundries

The capacity refers to the largest weight of standard laundries under dry condition. Do not exceed the rated capacity (8.0kg for this model). Actual capacity may vary based on laundry thickness, size, and type. Ensure laundries can turn freely during washing. Avoid selecting high water levels for loads less than 1.5kg to prevent splashing.

Use of Detergent

How to Use Softener:

The machine automatically adds softener during the last rinse cycle.

How to Use Bleach:

  • Fill water to the selected level.
  • Dilute bleach in a container and pour it slowly into the tub.
  • Do not use bleach for colored or figured laundries as it may cause color loss.
  • Do not pour bleach directly onto laundries.
  • Refer to the manual for bleach usage and quantity.
  • Dissolve powder bleach before use.

How to Use Washing Powder:

  • Dissolve directly in the machine (not suitable for preset programs).
  • For low water level: Add powder, run for 30 seconds to dissolve. Then add laundries and select water level.
  • For preset programs: Prepare warm water (approx. 30°C) in a container, pour powder while stirring to dissolve. Use detergent in proper quantity as it can pollute laundries more than liquid detergent. Clean the detergent box if powder gets blocked.

Remarks: Avoid splashing water and waste of washing powder. Water level should not be too high if laundries are small.
