The radio has the following components:

PROGRAMMABLE KEYS

The radio features three programmable keys (Side key 1, Side key 2, and the Top key). Each key can be assigned functions by the product distributor. The possible functions are:

3 Channel up/down adjust Switch channel through button
4 Hunt Enable or disable Hunt function
5 Squelch Enable or disable squelch function
6 Roaming Enable or disable roaming function
7 One touch call One touch to initiate a call, text message, etc. (5 call objects can be programmed)

Note: The functions of a programmable key may vary with the operation (press or press and hold). For details, contact the local distributor.

LED INDICATOR

The LED indicator shows the radio's operating status:

Indicator Status
Lit green Your radio is receiving voice signals.
Lit red Your radio is transmitting voice signals.
Flashing orange Your radio is in Hunt status.
Lit orange After a call is established, there is no voice transmitted or received in the service channel. You can press PTT key to speak.

BASIC OPERATIONS

Power On/Off Your Radio

To power on, rotate the Power/Volume rotary knob clockwise until a click is heard. To power off, rotate it counterclockwise until a click is heard.

Turn Up/down the Volume

Rotate the Power/Volume rotary knob clockwise to turn up the volume, and counterclockwise to turn down the volume.

Select a Zone

You can add channels into zones for efficient management. The radio supports up to 2 zones, with each zone containing up to 16 channels.

Select a Channel

In standby, rotate the Channel selection rotary knob to switch the current working channel. Rotating clockwise turns the channel down, and counterclockwise turns the channel up.

Call

To ensure clear communication, keep the microphone 2.5 cm to 5 cm away from your mouth when speaking.

Private Call
Initiate a private call

If your local distributor has set a programmable key for one-touch calling, you can initiate a private call using that key.

Answer a private call

When receiving a private call, the radio automatically establishes the call without needing to press a Call/Answer key. A reminding tone is played upon successful connection.

Group Call
Initiate a group call

You can initiate a group call in the following ways:

When receiving a group call, the radio automatically establishes the call without needing to press a Call/Answer key. A reminding tone is played upon successful connection.

Late Entry

After a group call is established, members who have not yet joined can connect to the ongoing group call during communication.

This radio is configured to work with the main software version 3.x or 4.x (where x represents 0-9).

This equipment is marked CE

According to the requirements specified in the “Radio Equipment” 2014/53/EU Directive, the radio equipment PH600 series is Class 2 and can be used in any European Union countries subject to authorization by the competent Authority.

This device can be used in any country not belonging to the European Union that has approved its use.

COMPLIANCE WITH RF EXPOSURE STANDARDS

The CALTTA two-way radio is designed and tested to comply with national and international standards and guidelines for human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic energy.

This radio complies with IEEE (FCC) and ICNIRP exposure limits for occupational/controlled RF exposure environments at operating duty factors of up to 50% talk-50% listen and is authorized by IEE/ICNIRP for occupational use only.

FCC STATEMENT

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of FCC Rules. Bluetooth guide

Use CPS software to define the upper and lower programmable keys on the left side of the Radio as Bluetooth on/off key and Bluetooth search key. Then press the lower key to enter the Bluetooth search status. After pairing the Bluetooth accessories, like a Bluetooth headset, while the Radio receives audio, the Bluetooth accessories will receive voice.
