SMARTair™ Proximity Access Control

What is SMARTair™?

SMARTair™ is a powerful access control system that is simple to install, simple to configure, simple to administer and maintain. Businesses small and large want the security of knowing that lost credentials can be prevented from gaining access quickly and the flexibility to restrict user movements within the building. Audit trails can show historical movement for reporting purposes.

SMARTair™ offers an intelligent, yet simple, step up from keys, and a cost-effective alternative to traditional access control. No bells, whistles, or wires, just sleek, reliable security.

SMARTair™ Benefits

SMARTair's attractive slimline Escutcheon design allows it to be fitted to any type of door from timber and steel to UPVC and aluminium section. External versions are also available.

The SMARTair™ knob Cylinder is flexible enough to provide access control to a standard oval cylinder - with no drilling required. Installation can be completed in under 1 minute.

SMARTair™ Wall Readers are available for internal and external use, where the door isn't suitable for an Escutcheon. These will connect to any electronic locking device.

SMARTair™ technology is also incorporated into other systems such as cabinet locks for locker rooms and energy saver hardware, allowing SMARTair™ users to control lights and air-conditioning.

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3

  1. Install the software: Create the users/doors, then apply the relevant access permissions.
  2. Install the hardware on the door: Select the correct mortice lock, mark out and drill the holes, place the unit on the door and tighten using the included screws. Fit the batteries/rear cover and finally the handles.
  3. Initialize the system and go: Apply the access parameters, and the system is ready to use.

Simple to install

SMARTair's battery-powered Escutcheons require no expensive cabling, may be retrofitted to existing doors, and are easy to set up and use.

Simple to manage

With SMARTair's simple management software, it's easy to load the correct information quickly and tailor the system for any customer. For the operator, learning how to apply and revoke permissions can be done in minutes.

Simple to maintain

A 12-24 month battery change cycle is all you need to keep the system running in top shape.

Cost effective

Due to the unique design, the total installed cost of SMARTair™ is generally half that of traditional access control systems, whilst still offering everything the system user will need.

Proximity & Pin access

User operation is as simple as holding your card or tag up to the SMARTair™ reader to gain access. The action is contactless, so wear and tear is reduced to a minimum. Keypad options allow the additional security of PIN and proximity access.

Attractive design

The elegant slimline looks of SMARTair™ suit any building, new or old.
