Please read the instructions before fitting and using the 001 Touch Plus Smart Deadlatch.
The functions and design of this product can be changed without prior notice for performance and quality improvements.

- Be careful not to let any unauthorised user discover your PIN code.
- Please keep your PIN code safe.
- To maintain a high quality finish, clean regularly with a soft damp cloth taking care not to scratch the finish.
- Do not use any chemicals when cleaning as this may affect your warranty.
- The 001 Touch Plus Smart Deadlatch requires you to place your palm on the touch screen.
- This is a safety feature so fingerprints showing the PIN code are wiped.

Getting to Know Your Lock

Set / Change Master Code
Registration
The master code is the main password to the lock. As well as allowing entry through the door, it is also used to configure the lock including adding and removing users when the Yale Home Module is not connected.

For security reasons the master code must be changed during installation.
Connecting with the Yale Home App
The Lockwood 001 Touch Plus Smart Deadlatch comes with the Yale Home Module to allow users to connect your lock with the Yale Home App to achieve a smart locking solution. Once you insert the Yale Home Module and batteries, the lock will be ready to pair with the Yale Home App.
Inserting the Yale Home Module

NOTE: TO ENABLE MOBILE APP FUNCTIONALITY WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO CONNECT YOUR LOCK WITH YALE HOME APP IMMEDIATELY AFTER SETTING UP THE MASTER CODE. For security reasons, when the lock gets registered with Yale Home App, the lock enables 'App mode' and prevents the user to register the credentials from keypad (such as: add/remove user code / key tag except the master code). All existing credentials (user code / key tag) will be erased upon initialisation except the master code. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to register the credentials through Yale Home App only.
Download the Yale Home App:
Step 1: Download the Yale Home App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Removing the Yale Home Module
Removing the Yale Home Module will remove all access to features available in the Yale Home App.
You may want to remove the Yale Home Module from the lock if you would like to move it into another lock.

Set a User Code
To set a user code, please follow Yale Home App Guide if you connected the module. Or refer to the below section if you decide not connect with the Yale Home Module.
The lock can hold up to 20 unique user codes, each one has a slot in the lock's memory from 1 to 20. If a new code is written to a slot that already holds a code it will overwrite it. To save overwriting someone's code it is important to record who's codes are stored in each slot. Please use the User Credential Log section in the back of the book to record this.

Delete a User Code
To delete a user code, please follow Yale Home App Guide if you connected the Yale Home Module. Or refer to below section if you decide not to connect with the Yale Home Module.
To discontinue a user's access, their code will need to be deleted. Before removing a user code please refer to the User Credential Log at the back of this guide to determine the slot number of the code desired for deletion.

Set a One Day Code
Please refer to the 'Access Schedules' section from the Yale Home App Guide if you connected the Yale Home Module. Or refer to below section to set up a One day Code if you decide not connect with the Yale Home Module.
The one day code is a code that will automatically expire after 24 hours. This allows short term access to be granted to someone.

Delete a One Day Code

A one day code can be deleted if it is no longer wanted. If not, it will automatically expire at the end of the 24 hour period.

Adding a Key Tag
To Add a Key Tag, please follow Yale Home App Guide if you are connected to the Yale Home Module. Or refer to below section if you decide not to connect with the Yale Home Module.
The lock can hold up to 20 Key Tags, each one has a slot in the lock's memory from 1 to 20. If you try to add a Tag to a slot that already holds one, it will sound an error beep. It will also sound an error beep if you try to add a Tag that has already been added. Because of this, it is important to record which Tags are stored in each slot. Please use the User Credential Log section in the back of this guide to record this.

Delete a Key Tag
To delete a Key Tag, please follow Yale Home App Guide if you connected the Yale Home Module. Or refer to below section if you decide not to connect with the Yale Home Module.
To stop a user having access, their Key Tag will need to be deleted. Before doing this, you will need to know which slot in the locks memory, their existing Key Tag is in. Please see the User Credential Log at the back of the guide.

Change PIN Re-lock Time
There is no difference to change PIN Re-lock time after you connected to Yale Home App.
The relock time is the amount of time it takes for the lock to relock after it has been unlocked with a correct credential (PIN, Key Tag). The default is 7 seconds.
Note: If the Yale Home App is used as credential to unlock the door, then the re-lock time will be always 7 seconds.

Auto Re-lock On/Off
There is no difference to change Auto Re-lock On/Off after you connected to Yale Home App.
The lock can be changed between two modes. With auto re-lock mode 'ON' the lock will automatically re-lock after the configured time. With auto re-lock mode 'OFF' the lock will not re-lock until you touch the Keypad with the palm of your hand.

Volume Settings
The volume can be adjusted from both the Yale Home App and keypad. The setting is automatically synchronised if the setting is changed on either App or keypad. Please refer to Yale Home App Guide to adjust volume from App and refer to below section for adjusting volume from keypad.
The lock can be switched between three volume modes. In silent mode only programming beeps will be heard. In quiet mode the keypad beeps will be quieter, in loud mode they will be loud.

Security Features
Intrusion Alarm
Damage Alarm:
If the lock is attacked by attempting to remove the lock from the door on the outside, an 80dB alarm will sound.

Incorrect PIN Lockout
For security, if the wrong PIN is entered 5 consecutive times the lock will lockout for 3 minutes. This is indicated by the numbers [3] on the keypad flashing.
To Release Lockout
Present valid Key Tag or unlock via the App.

Emergency Power
Emergency Power Supply for Discharged Batteries
If the batteries in the lock have completely failed, emergency power can be provided by a 9V battery on the front body.

Expiry Period
The product uses four 1.5V (LR6) alkaline AA batteries. The batteries will last approximately 1 year based on the lock being used 10 times per day. (Users are advised to use authentic alkaline batteries.)
Low Battery Alarm
You must replace all 4 batteries for the following cases:
- The Low Battery indicator on the front of the lock illuminates.
- The host connected system indicates a low battery in the lock.
RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE WASTE BATTERIES REGULATIONS.
You will also receive the low battery warning from Yale Home App and email once you connected to the Yale Home App.

The battery life varies according to ambient temperature, humidity, frequency of use and the quality of the battery. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Only alkaline batteries are recommended.
Resetting the Lock
In the event of losing the master code to the lock, the lock will need to be reset back to factory default settings. This will result in the master code being set to the factory default which is '123456'.

The lock should not be used on doors where the internal part of the lock or battery pack is exposed to outdoor elements.
