Introduction
Thank you for purchasing Kitchen Couture Air Fryer. The Kitchen Couture Air Fryer evenly circulates hot air rapidly around food. The Kitchen Couture Air Fryer heats up the food from all sides at once, making it a healthier, faster and easier method to prepare tasty food than conventional fryers. The Air Fryer does not use oil to fry food like conventional methods but can still create the crispy outer layer. As a result, food prepared by the air fryer contains up to 80% less fat than those prepared by a conventional fryer. Not only does the Kitchen Couture Air Fryer make your guilty pleasures a healthier choice, it does the job faster. Typical cooking time is 10-20 minutes, compared to the 15-30 minutes by a conventional fryer or oven. This versatile Kitchen Couture Air Fryer is a must-have in every modern home kitchen.

Control Panel Layout:
The control panel features:
- LED Screen: Displays temperature, time, and program status.
- Power On/Off Button (J): To turn the appliance on or off.
- Start/Pause Button (I): To start or pause the cooking process.
- Temperature Adjustment: Plus (+) and Minus (-) buttons (B) to set the cooking temperature.
- Time Adjustment: Plus (+) and Minus (-) buttons (H) to set the cooking time.

Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: Read all instructions carefully before using the appliance.
- Never immerse the main body of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Never rinse it under the tap.
- Do not let any water or other liquid enter the main body of the appliance to prevent electric shock.
- Do not let ingredients touch the heating elements.
- Do not cover the air inlet and air exhaust openings while the appliance is operating.
- Do not fill the frying tray with oil, as this may cause a fire hazard.
- Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.
- Check that the appliance's voltage corresponds to your local mains voltage before connecting.
- Do not use the appliance if the plug, power cord, or appliance itself is damaged.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized service center or qualified electrician.
- Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children when switched on or cooling down.
- Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
- Do not plug/unplug or operate the touch screen with wet hands.
- Only connect to an earthed wall socket and ensure the plug is inserted properly.
- Never connect to an external timer switch.
- Do not place the appliance on or near combustible materials like tablecloths or curtains.
- Do not place the appliance against a wall or other appliances. Leave at least 10cm free space at the back, sides, and above. Do not cover the appliance or place anything on top.
- Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than described in this manual.
- Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
- During cooking, steam and hot air are released through the air outlet. Keep hands and face at a safe distance.
- Be careful of steam and hot air when pulling the frying tray out.
- The surface below the appliance may become hot during use.
- Immediately unplug if you see dark smoke. Wait for smoke to stop before removing the frying tray.
CAUTION:
- Place the appliance on a horizontal, level, and stable surface.
- This appliance is intended for normal household use only, not for commercial or institutional environments.
- Improper use or failure to follow instructions invalidates the warranty and liability.
- Always unplug the appliance after use.
- Let the appliance cool down completely (over 30 minutes) before cleaning.
- Always remove food residues after each use to prevent smells.
Before First Use
- Remove all packing material.
- Remove any stickers or labels, except the rating label.
- Thoroughly clean the oil drainer and frying tray with hot water and liquid washing soap using a non-abrasive sponge. Tip: These parts may be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
Preparing for Use
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, level, and heat-resistant surface.
- Install the oil drainer in the frying tray properly, ensuring it sits at the bottom. WARNING: Do not fill the frying tray with oil or any other liquid. Do not cover the appliance. Do not block air inlets and outlets.
- Install the frying tray (with oil drainer) back into the appliance.
First Use
During the first one or two uses, it is normal to smell burning plastic and metal, and hear small sounds. This is due to the initial heating of inner components.
To eliminate smells:
- Turn on the appliance, set the temperature to 200°C, and operate without food for 30 minutes.
- If smells persist, let the appliance cool down completely, then repeat the 30-minute operation at 200°C without food.
Quick Start
- Insert the plug into an earthed wall socket. (Power supply: 220-240V 50Hz)
- Touch the Power On/Off button (J). Lights will turn on. The default temperature is 180°C and the default time is 15 minutes.
- Adjusting Temperature: Touch Temperature Plus/Minus buttons (B) to adjust. Each adjustment is 10°C. For quicker adjustment, touch and hold the buttons. The temperature can be adjusted from 50°C to 200°C. You will hear a "Beep--" sound with each adjustment.
- Adjusting Time: Touch Time Plus/Minus buttons (H) to adjust. Each adjustment is 1 minute. For quicker adjustment, touch and hold the buttons. Cooking time can be adjusted from 1 to 60 minutes.
- Using Preset Programs: Alternatively, touch the desired food menu button (e.g., Fries, Meat, Chicken) to select a preset cooking program. The corresponding indicator light will turn on.
- Touch the Start/Pause button (I) to begin cooking. The timer will start counting down.
Note: The appliance is in standby status after initial setup, indicated by the Power On/Off light.
Cooking Steps and Tips
- Insert the plug into an earthed wall socket.
- Pull the frying tray out of the appliance and place it on a flat surface.
- Install the oil drainer in the frying tray properly.
- Load the frying tray with ingredients.
- Install the frying tray (with ingredients) back into the appliance.
- Touch Power On/Off (J) to turn on the appliance. Default settings are 180°C and 15 minutes.
- Adjust temperature using Temperature Plus/Minus (B) (50°C - 200°C, 10°C increments). Hold for faster adjustment.
- Adjust time using Time Plus/Minus (H) (1 - 60 minutes, 1-minute increments). Hold for faster adjustment.
- Select a preset cooking program by touching the corresponding food menu button (K, L, M, N, O, C, D, F, G). The Preheat program (default 180°C for 3 minutes) can be used for optimized results.
- Touch Start/Pause (I) to begin cooking.
During Cooking:
- Manual Control: You may manually terminate or pause cooking by touching Start/Pause (I). To resume, touch Start/Pause again.
- Checking Ingredients: You can pull out the frying tray to check ingredients during cooking. Cooking and timer will pause. They resume when the tray is put back.
- Shaking Ingredients: Some ingredients require shaking halfway through. Pull out the tray, shake the ingredients, and reinsert the tray.
- Automatic Stop: Cooking stops automatically when the timer is up. You will hear "Beep--" sounds for about 10 seconds. The fan will continue working for one minute to cool the appliance and ingredients. The fan and lights (except Power On/Off) will turn off, returning the appliance to standby.
- WARNING: Steam and hot air may escape when the frying tray is pulled out. Pull it out slowly and keep hands and face at a safe distance.
- Empty the frying tray into a bowl or plate. For large or fragile ingredients, use tongs.
WARNING: Do not turn the frying tray upside down after cooking, as collected grease and oil may flow back onto the food. The tray, drainer, ingredients, and interior surfaces are hot after cooking; do not touch with hands.

Program Details:
- Preheat: Default setting: 180°C; 3 mins. Used to preheat the appliance for optimal cooking results.
- Fries: Default setting: 200°C; 18 mins. Recommended for potato fries, chips, wedges, cubes, roesti. Both frozen and fresh ingredients can be used.
- Meat: Default setting: 200°C; 12 mins. Used for meats and meat products like ribs, meatballs, kebabs, sausages. Both frozen and fresh ingredients can be used.
- Drumsticks: Default setting: 200°C; 20 mins. Used for chicken wings, drumsticks. Fresh or defrosted ingredients are recommended.
- Steak: Default setting: 180°C; 12 mins. Recommended for beef, pork, chicken, lamb steaks. Fresh or defrosted ingredients are recommended.
- Cake: Default setting: 160°C; 25 mins. For baking cakes, breads, and desserts. Home-made and oven-ready ingredients can be used.
- Shrimp: Default setting: 180°C; 8 mins. For shrimps, squid rings, oysters, clams, scallops. Monitor food as it may overcook quickly.
- Fish: Default setting: 180°C; 10 mins. For various fishes and fish products. Monitor food as it may overcook quickly.
- Chicken: Default setting: 200°C; 25 mins. For cooking a whole chicken. Both fresh and defrosted ingredients can be used.
- Vegetables: Default setting: 160°C; 10 mins. For cooking a wide range of vegetables. Fresh ingredients are recommended.

The airfry chart provides guidelines for airfrying various foods. Settings may need personalization based on ingredient origin, size, shape, and brand.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the appliance after every use.
- Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Tip: Remove the frying tray to speed up cooling.
- Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Clean the interior walls with a damp cloth or sponge with liquid soap. Remove grease and food residues to prevent smells.
- Clean the frying tray and oil drainer with hot water and washing liquid soap using a non-abrasive sponge. TIPS: Accessories are dishwasher safe. Use degreasing liquid for stubborn residues. Soak oil drainer in hot water and soap for 10 minutes if residue sticks.
- When the appliance has cooled, clean the heating elements with a damp cloth.
- Ensure all parts are clean and dry. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid direct sunlight on the appliance.
- Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service center.
WARNING: Never use metal kitchen utensils, abrasive, or corrosive cleaning materials on the appliance or accessories, as they can damage the finish, surface, or coatings.
WARNING: Do not rinse the appliance with tap water or any other liquid. NEVER immerse the body of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
