Knog Blinder Quick Start Guide

This guide provides essential information to get your Knog Blinder light up and running quickly.

Recharge Before First Use

Before using your Blinder light for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge it. The device can be charged using a standard USB connection. An illustration shows the light's USB plug (?) connecting to a laptop or power adapter. A battery indicator displays 100% and a checkmark (✔️) signifies a full charge.

Method: Connect the light's USB plug to a power source such as a computer's USB port or a USB wall adapter.

Interface

The Blinder light features a simple interface:

  • A. Low Battery Indicator: Alerts you when the battery is running low.
  • B. Power/Mode Switch: The primary button for controlling the light.
  • C. Recharge Indicator: Shows the charging status.

Operation:

  • Long press the Power/Mode Switch (B) to turn the light ON or OFF.
  • Short press the Power/Mode Switch (B) to cycle through different light modes.

Fitment

The Blinder comes with three strap sizes included to ensure a secure fit on various handlebars or seatposts:

  • Small (S)
  • Medium (M)
  • Large (L)

Your Blinder light is pre-fitted to the clasp with the Medium strap.

Interchangeable Strap

The strap can be easily interchanged for different mounting needs:

  1. Stretch the strap to fit into the clasp mechanism.
  2. Place the end of the strap over the hook on the light body.
  3. Pull the strap towards the light body to secure it firmly.

Mounting

Follow these steps to mount your Blinder light onto a bar (e.g., bicycle handlebar or seatpost):

  1. Pull the silicone strap around the bar.
  2. Engage the latch into the hook on the light body to secure it.

The Range

The Blinder range offers different visual patterns and is available for both front and rear bicycle lighting:

  • Patterns:
    • GRID [grid pattern]
    • SKULL [skull icon]
    • SQUARE [square icon]
    • X [X icon]
  • Availability: The Blinder range is available as front and rear lights.

Warranty Information

Knog provides a warranty for its Blinder lights:

  • This light is guaranteed for 2 years against manufacturing defects only.
  • The battery is guaranteed for 6 months against manufacturing defects only.
