Replacement for Krups Claris® Water Filter
This coffee water filter is designed as a premium quality alternative for coffee makers and other devices that use the Claris Aqua filtering system.
The filter is certified BPA Free and TUV SUD.
Installation Instructions
Cartridge Preparation
Before handling the filter, wash your hands thoroughly.
Remove the cartridge from its plastic wrapper. This packaging is recyclable.
Fill a clean bowl with fresh, cold water. Submerge the cartridge and shake it gently to release any trapped air inside.
Installing the Cartridge
Remove the water reservoir from the coffee maker and empty any remaining water.
If an old cartridge is still in place, turn it counter-clockwise until it disengages from its mount.
Insert the new cartridge into the bottom of the reservoir, carefully aligning the threads on the cartridge's tip with those in its mount.
Turn the filter clockwise to secure it firmly.
Rinsing and Preparation
Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water.
Re-install the water reservoir into the coffee maker.
Flush the filter. If your coffee maker model supports a cartridge change/flush function, use it now. Otherwise, run the first full reservoir of water through the filter as 'hot water only, without adding coffee'.
Refer to the manufacturer's manual if needed.
Care & Maintenance
Regularly check the water reservoir to ensure the cartridge is firmly in place and the filtration process is working seamlessly.
The cartridge should be replaced after 100 liters of use. If the coffee machine remains unused for more than 15 days (e.g., during vacation), it is recommended to change the filter before using it again.
Warning: Always remove the cartridge prior to descaling the machine.
