1.2 Operating Instructions
Operating Voltage range is 9-36VDC. When installed on the aircraft, using the aircraft's power (14 or 28 volts), the light will be at its maximum intensity.
Description of touch control interface diagram: Illustrates the EyeBeam Mini's touch controls, labeling the 'ON/OFF switch' [⏻] and 'BRIGHTNESS slider' [➕] [➖].
1.3 Installation Schematic / Wiring Diagram
Description of wiring diagram: A schematic shows the power connection for the EyeBeam Mini. It includes a power source labeled '9-36 VDC', connected through a 'Fuse' (0.5 A) and a 'Switch' to the light unit.
1.4 Control & Power Inputs
BLACK wire: Negative power supply line (ground)
RED wire: Positive power supply line

1.6 Technical Drawing
Description of technical drawing: Provides dimensions for the EyeBeam Mini. Includes front view with mounting hole details (63 mm / 2.48" diameter) and side views showing depths of 20 mm (0.787") and 19 mm (0.748"). A separate diagram details the panel cutout for mounting, including angles and dimensions in mm [inches].
1.7 Wiring Chart
Use the diagram to define the wiring size based on current and wire length. Ensure the current for all connected lights is summed. If current is not provided, divide power by voltage. The chart also includes notes on voltage drop and conductor temperature.
Description of wiring chart: A grid correlating wire length (in feet) and circuit voltage (14V, 28V) with wire size and current (Amperes). It also references voltage drop and conductor temperature considerations.
1.8 Optic Simulation
Standard lens, White LED.
Description of optic simulation polar plots: Two 'Candela Polar Plot' graphs illustrate the light intensity distribution. One shows maximum intensity of approximately 317 cd, and the other shows minimum intensity of approximately 32 cd.
1.9 Equipment Limitation
EyeBeam Mini™ should only be powered by 9-36VDC.
1.10 Care and Cleaning of your Aveo Engineering Aviation Lights
Upon receipt, Aveo Engineering Aviation Lights are factory polished and ready for installation. For deeper cleaning, use a quality lamb's wool sheet for polishing. Do not use any petroleum-based products for cleaning.
1.11 Testing of the Light Before Installation
All Aveo Aviation lights undergo rigorous testing, including burn-in time and functional testing, before release. To test the EyeBeam Mini™ light before installation:
- Review the written information enclosed in the packaging, including warranty information and cautionary notes about power supply removal.
- Remove the light from the package. Note the two wires: Black (-) Negative lead, Red (+) Positive lead.
- Test the light's function using a regular 14V or 28V/5A DC power supply (not a battery charger). Connect the black wire to the power supply's negative lead and the red wire to the positive lead. The EyeBeam Mini light should illuminate. When installed on an aircraft, it will operate at maximum intensity using the aircraft's 14V or 28V power.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Use only a 9-36 VDC power supply or a 14 or 28 volt battery for testing. Do not use battery chargers, battery back-up power devices, or other bench avionics testing methods. Using a battery charger or other power unit will void the warranty and may damage the light.

1.12 Notes on Installation
Mount the EyeBeam Mini as described in the following diagram.
Description of installation diagram: Shows the mounting procedure for the EyeBeam Mini. Includes a 'Tightening Nut' securing the light to a 'Ceiling / Wall' panel, with a maximum panel thickness specified as 15 mm (0.59").
1.13 Continues Airworthiness Information
Periodic Inspection Procedure for EyeBeam Mini series:
Check the EyeBeam Mini™ lights for proper operation during preflight. This information is typically included in general aviation aircraft flight manuals. Visually inspect the lights for general condition, proper operation, and correct installation at each annual and/or 100 hours inspection. Refer to section 1.10 for detailed cleaning instructions.
