Advanced Usage
Using Playlists
Managing playlists on an MP3 player can be complex. The MediaMonkey (MM) program is a free and simple tool for transferring playlists to the AGPTek. Create your playlists in MM, then right-click the filename and select 'Sync to X:' (your MP3 player's storage).
Sorting Music or Audiobooks
File order is crucial. Before copying files to the player, arrange them correctly on your computer by name (as shown in the file sorting interface). Sorting by name ensures the correct playback order.
If your music is not sorting correctly, use a tool like 'Advanced Renamer'. Download it and number your tracks sequentially (e.g., 01 for Track 1, 02 for Track 2). After renaming, click 'Start batch' in the tool's window, then click 'Start'. Load the renamed files onto your MP3 player and verify the order.
Loading Large Amounts of Music
To load many songs, create separate folders on the SD card and move your songs into these folders. This can be done using Windows Explorer on your PC.
Loading Music CDs
An entire music CD can be split into individual audio files. Software and hardware players often treat each audio file as a single playlist entry, making song selection difficult. A solution is to split the original audio file into separate files, one per song.
Conversion Process:
1. Download TTPlayer from http://images.agptek.us/image/TTPlayer.rar and insert your CD into the player.
2. Select the music you wish to convert, right-click, and choose 'convert format'.
3. Select 'Monkey's Audio (APE)' and a transfer rate of 44000 or 48000 Hz, then click 'convert now'.
4. Once conversion is complete, move the individual files to your MP3 player.
