Product Purpose

The glue gun is designed for applying hot glue. Do not use this product for any purpose other than its intended use. Using the tool in any unauthorized way is dangerous.

Safety Warnings

General Safety

  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user-maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • When the product is not in use, it must be placed on its stand.
  • If the product is not to be used for a longer period, the batteries should be removed.
  • Do not short-circuit the power contacts.

Battery Safety

  • To avoid fire, injury or product damage due to short circuit, do not immerse the tool, interchangeable battery pack or charger in liquids and do not allow liquids to flow into them. Corrosive or conductive liquids, such as seawater, certain chemicals and bleaches or products containing bleaches, can cause short circuits.

Battery Transport

  • Lithium batteries must be transported in accordance with local and national regulations.
  • Follow all special requirements for packaging and labelling when transporting by a third party.
  • Ensure that no batteries come into contact with other batteries or conductive materials during transport. Secure exposed terminals with non-conductive caps or tape. Do not transport cracked or leaking batteries. Consult a shipping company for detailed advice.

Operation

Getting Started

  1. Insert Glue Stick: Place a glue stick (11) into the glue stick chamber (1). Ensure it is fully inserted.
  2. Insert Battery: Insert a compatible battery pack (13) into the battery socket (10) until it clicks into place.
  3. Power On and Heat Up: Slide the On/Off switch (7) to the 'On' position. The LED power indicator (2) will illuminate. Allow approximately 4 minutes for the glue gun to heat up to operating temperature.
  4. Apply Glue: Squeeze the trigger (5) to dispense hot glue.
  5. Power Off and Standby: When finished, slide the On/Off switch (7) to the 'Off' position. Place the glue gun on its stand (9) to prevent accidental contact with hot surfaces and to catch drips.

Storage

  1. Place the glue gun on its stand (9).
  2. Allow the glue gun to cool down completely before storing.
  3. Remove the battery pack if storing for an extended period.
  4. Store the glue gun and accessories in a dry, safe place.

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or use with non-approved accessories or parts.
